There’s an endless amount of things to do in Edmonton this weekend, so we’ve made things simple for you. Looking for something to do? Look no further; we’ve compiled a list of some of the best things to do this weekend in the city, so let’s take a look.

Check out this spooky interactive experience at Fort Edmonton Park. Where Dark Things Dwell is Edmonton’s largest outdoor escape room, featuring live actors, exclusive access to the park, and a night you’ll never forget. This is one of the last weeks it’s running, so don’t miss out!

Cost: $35 per person or $140 per group of four (plus service fee and GST)

The Cirque Italia Water Circus is one of the largest travelling spectacles in the United States and Canada, performing thrilling stunts on water stages. This celebration of art, emotion, and wonder is absolutely unforgettable, so get ready to step into the tent and world of Cirque Italia magic.

Sing along to ABBAMANIA: Back To The Disco Dimension at Jubilations Dinner Theatre!

This experience combines great food with great performances. Watch a musical parody blending ABBA classics with side-splitting humour and outrageous twists over a mouth-watering dinner service.

The Stratheran Art Walk is a free, family-friendly art market and music festival in Edmonton, which focuses on celebrating emerging and professional artists and musicians. With this artwalk, you can purchase pieces, engage and connect with neighbours, and enjoy some of the best local food vendors the city has to offer.

When: Friday, Sept. 5, 2025, to Sunday, Sept. 7, 2025
Time: 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, and 12 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Sunday
Where: Stratheran Park — 8728 97th Ave. NW, Edmonton, Alta.

This multi-venue music festival is dedicated to showcasing the newest emerging sounds from the underground scene. This year, the Purple City Music Festival features all-ages shows, giving everyone a chance to jam.

This night market will take over the Alberta Aviation Museum this September, featuring over 80 spooky vendors, artists, and food trucks. The Cabinet of Curiosities Market is the only market from North of Ordinary Events this month, so mark the date in your calendar.

When: Friday, Sept. 5, 2025
Time: 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Where: Alberta Aviation Museum — 11410 Kingsway NW, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: Free

DSTRKT25 is Edmonton’s most anticipated electronic music festival.

Featuring premier artists like Kaytranada and Excision, there’s a whole lineup of exciting guests who will turn Fan Park up a notch. With two stages, twice the fun is sure to be had.

When: Friday, Sept. 5, 2025, to Saturday, Sept. 6, 2025
Time: Gates open on Friday at 4 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday
Where: Fan Park — 10104 104th Ave. NW, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: $99+

With host Linda Hoang, get immersed in the public art across Downtown Edmonton with a mural and food tour.

As part of the Edmonton Mural Festival, which runs through August and September, tours are being held to showcase the wonderful art within the city. For two and a half hours, you can experience multiple food stops, mural stops, and even a live mural viewing.

Canada’s hit band Down With Webster is coming to Edmonton this Saturday! Get tickets and rock out with the band to some of their hits like “Your Man” and “One in a Million.”

When: Saturday, Sept. 6, 2025
Time: 7 p.m.
Where: Midway Music Hall — 6107 104th St. NW, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: $66.25

The premium game Stardew Valley is coming to life, and coming to Edmonton this weekend! Symphony of the Seasons features a 35-piece orchestra, performing some of the best hits from the game while showing off gameplay highlights above the orchestra.

It’s only here for one night, so don’t miss out.

When: Saturday, Sept. 6, 2025
