10 festivals you won’t want to miss in Toronto this July

If there’s one thing Toronto does right in the summer, it’s throw a good festival. We’re talking street parties, park festivals, and more.

Though there are tons, and we mean A LOT of festivals happening in Toronto this month, we’ve put together a list of 10 that you don’t want to miss out on.

From fan favourites to annual experiences, we never skip out on. If you needed any weekend plans this month, consider yourself covered.

Described as Scarborough’s largest street festival, expect a ton of food vendors, midway rides, and live entertainment along Lawrence Avenue East.

Organized by the Wexford Heights BIA, the festivities begin with an Opening Ceremony and parade right at 6 p.m.

“This year also introduces the brand-new TOL Soccer Hub, featuring free soccer activities, watch parties and game screenings, giveaways, interactive experiences and special programming inspired by soccer nations from around the world,” shares organizers.

When: Friday, July 3 to Sunday, July 5, 2026
Where: Lawrence Avenue East between Warden Avenue and Birchmount Road
Time: Friday from 6 p.m. to late, Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to late

Toronto’s largest Arabic festival returns this July. Expect a vibrant celebration of culture featuring lively music, delicious food, dance, and performances at Nathan Phillips Square. You don’t want to miss it!

When: Friday, July 3 to Sunday, July 5, 2026
Where: 100 Queen St. W.
Time: Friday from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Lose yourself to the beats and melodies at Sounds of Leslieville and Riverside. It’s free to attend, and it’s your chance to enjoy diverse music, food trucks, and vendors.

When: Friday, July 3 to Sunday, July 5, 2026
Where: Jimmie Simpson Park, 872 Queen St. E.
Time: Friday from 6 p.m. to late, Saturday and Sunday from noon into the evening.

St Clair West is about to transform into the ultimate Latin fiesta for an entire weekend, this July. TD Salsa on St. Clair returns for two unforgettable days. Expect the streets to come alive with stunning performances, irresistible cuisine, high-energy music, and nonstop dancing, according to organizers.

When: Saturday, July 11 and Sunday, July 12, 2026
Where: St Clair Avenue West from Winona Drive to Christie Street
Time: Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

For two full days, the Festival of South Asia will bring family fun activities, food, shopping, live entertainment and more to the east end.

Make your way to the Gerrard India Bazaar, located on Gerrard Street East between Coxwell Avenue and Glenside Avenue. It’ll be one event you don’t want to miss.

When: Saturday, July 11 and Sunday, July 12, 2026
Where: Gerrard Street East between Coxwell Avenue and Glenside Avenue
Time: Noon to 11 p.m.

Enjoy an outdoor celebration of Vietnamese cuisine, culture, and live entertainment all happening at Nathan Phillips Square. It’s going to be a delicious weekend.

When: Thursday, July 16 to Saturday, July 18, 2026
Where: Nathan Phillips Square, 100 Queen St. W.
Time: Thursday from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

The beloved two-day festival, BIG on Bloot, will highlight the city’s art and culture scene while showcasing performances and local business activations.

As it does every year, a portion of Bloor Street West will get blocked off to allow pedestrians to enjoy the festivities and shop along the street.

When: Saturday, July 18 and Sunday, July 19, 2026
Where: Bloor Street West, between Dufferin Street and Lansdowne Avenue
Time: Noon to midnight, Sunday until 9 p.m.

FIFA Fan Festival Toronto has been quite the hotspot to catch all the World Cup action. Now until Sunday, July 19, 2026, the event is streaming live match broadcasts, keeping you fed and quenched, and making sure you’re entertained. General admission is free, but you must get tickets online to reserve your spot.

And trust us, they go quickly.

Part of the Beaches International Jazz Festival, the StreetFest closes off a portion of Queen Street East and transforms into a dance floor, featuring live bands and patios.

When: Thursday, July 23 to Saturday, July 25, 2026
Where: Queen Street East between Woodbine Avenue and Beech Avenue
Time: 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.

A Toronto street once recognized as the “coolest in the world” is getting ready for its annual summer bash. OssFest will showcase the best of the Ossington strip and will take over the busy street for an entire day this July.

Expect expanded patios, local artisans, shopping, and live entertainment.

When: Saturday, July 25, 2026
Where: Ossington Avenue from Queen Street West to Dundas Street West
Time: 11 a.m to 10 p.m.
