It’s a new week, and it’s time to start making plans with friends and family.

September is a busy month in Edmonton. With school starting up and a new season beginning, there’s more than a handful of things to do in and around the city, so let’s get into it.

Check out this spooky interactive experience at Fort Edmonton Park. Where Dark Things Dwell is Edmonton’s largest outdoor escape room, featuring live actors, exclusive access to the park, and a night you’ll never forget. This is the last week it’s running, so don’t miss out!

When: Now to Sunday, Sept. 14, 2025
Time: 6 and 8:30 p.m.
Where: 7000 143rd St.
Cost: $35 per person or $140 per group of four (plus service fee and GST)

Sing along to ABBAMANIA: Back To The Disco Dimension at Jubilations Dinner Theatre!

This experience combines great food with great performances. Watch a musical parody blending ABBA classics with side-splitting humour and outrageous twists over a mouth-watering dinner service.

When: Now to Sunday, Nov. 2, 2025
Time: 6:30 p.m.
Where: Jubilations Dinner Theatre — 8882 170th St. NW, Edmonton, Alta.

Each Thursday throughout the warmer months, 124th Street becomes alive with a grand market of goodies, treats, and food vendors. The market will be closing for the winter and fall months, so don’t miss your chance to check it out before it closes!

When: Every Thursday until Thursday, Oct. 9, 2025
Time: 4 to 8 p.m.
Where: 108nd Avenue between 124th Street and 123rd Street
Cost: Free

The 50th anniversary of the famous rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd is here, and they are coming to Edmonton this Thursday for a whirlwind of a show.

When: Thursday, Sept. 11, 2025
Time: 7:30 p.m.
Where: Rogers Place — 10220 104th Ave. NW, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: $50+

This farmers’ market runs year-round in the Salisbury Greenhouse in Sherwood Park, just outside of Edmonton. If you decide to visit, you can expect a wide array of fresh and local food, as well as high-quality arts and crafts.

When: Every Thursday
Time: 4 to 7 p.m.
Where: Salisbury Greenhouse — 52337 Range Rd. 232, Sherwood Park, Alta.

It’s finally time, the Edmonton Corn Maze is up, ready, and in full swing for operation. This Edmonton staple features not only the famous corn maze, but a gorgeous sunflower field, endless photo opportunities, and even the chance to pet and feed farm animals.

When: Now until Thursday, Oct. 24, 2025
Time: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The I’m The Problem Tour has made its way into Alberta, and Morgan Wallen is hitting Edmonton this Friday for a concert of a lifetime. Country fans, you’re going to want to head over to the Commonwealth Stadium for this one.

Time: 4:30 p.m.
Where: Commonwealth Stadium — 11000 Stadium Rd. NW, Edmonton, Alta.

Since the summer has ended, the TELUS World of Science has transitioned its Summer Laser Shows into Legendary Laser Shows.

Guests are invited to step into the Zeidler Dome and experience music like never before. This season’s lineup includes features like Laser Queen, Laser Country, and more.

When: Friday, Sept. 12, 2025
Time: 8:15 p.m.
Where: Zeidler Dome — 11211 142nd St. NW, Edmonton, Alta.

Cruise along the North Saskatchewan River and rock the night away with the request-only performance from Edmonton’s most talented duelling pianists, Court Jester Dueling Pianos.

“Where creativity meets tradition.”

Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore are taking center stage for this upcoming festival, with cultural performances, foods, and more all slated for the celebration. This year, they are even featuring an extreme eating contest. You definitely don’t want to miss out on this one.
