The weather is cooling down, and it’s getting darker and darker.

With fall beginning and summer slowly drifting away, everyone is trying to find new activities and events for September. We understand, so here are some of the best things to do this week in Edmonton!

It’s finally time, the Edmonton Corn Maze is up, ready, and in full swing for operation. This Edmonton staple features not only the famous corn maze, but a gorgeous sunflower field, endless photo opportunities, and even the chance to pet and feed farm animals.

When: Now until Thursday, Oct. 24, 2025
Time: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: 51529 Range Rd. 262, Spruce Grove, Alta.

Sing along to ABBAMANIA: Back To The Disco Dimension at Jubilations Dinner Theatre!

This experience combines great food with great performances. Watch a musical parody blending ABBA classics with side-splitting humour and outrageous twists over a mouth-watering dinner service.

When: Now to Sunday, Nov. 2, 2025
Time: 6:30 p.m.
Where: Jubilations Dinner Theatre — 8882 170th St. NW, Edmonton, Alta.

Until Sept. 30, Salsa in the Square will be taking place every Tuesday in Churchill Square.

Put on your dancing shoes for free Latin dance lessons with ETOWN Salsa, where there will be two lessons followed by a social dance hour. This week, you learn Bachata!

When: Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2025
Time: 6 to 9 p.m.
Where: Churchill Square — 100th St. NW, Edmonton, Alta.

Each Thursday throughout the warmer months, 124th Street becomes alive with a grand market of goodies, treats, and food vendors. The market will be closing for the winter and fall months, so don’t miss your chance to check it out before it closes!

When: Every Thursday until Thursday, Oct. 9, 2025

Where: 108nd Avenue between 124th Street and 123rd Street
Cost: Free

In this edition of the Street Car Cask Party, guests will be able to taste The Growlery and Analog Brewing’s exclusive cask beer while riding the historic Edmonton Street Car.

When: Thursday, Sept. 18, 2025
Time: 5:30 p.m. and 6:45 p.m.
Where: 10910 100th Ave. NW, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: $63.10

Interested in mixing things up? This hands-on cocktail workshop, led by a seasoned mixologist, will have you shaking things up for sure. Guests will craft four cocktails, matched with bites from Chef Allen, and will leave with a custom gift bag and new skills to show.

Time: 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Pianists Mikołaj Warszyński and Zuzana Šimurdová will take to the Winspear stage to perform a special interpretation of Chopin’s Concertos.

When: Friday, Sept. 19, 2025

Where: Winspear Centre — 4 Sir Winston Churchill Sq. NW, Edmonton, Alta.

In this special Prelude event, guests are invited for an evening of intimate cocktails. This event offers curated cocktails from the best of the Prelude Speakeasy series, a live DJ, and an unforgettable night.

At Telus World of Science’s Purple Pear Restaurant, a Friday Night Trivia is hosted each week. This event is not only free but also family-friendly, so that everyone in the family can participate and compete.

The Edmonton Expo is back for another year of geeky madness. Meet up and get autographs from your favourite celebrities, roam around the marketplace, and witness a variety of fun experiences!

When: Friday, Sept. 19, 2025, to Sunday, Sept. 21, 2025
Time: 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday
