Head over to the Confluence for a day of free programming centred on Indigenous culture, history, and reconciliation. The event will include a Circle Camp, with a tipi lodge representing the Treaty 7 Nations, along with storytelling with Elders, Indigenous games, and craft demonstrations.

Pokaiks’ annual Reconciliation Walk returns for its 10th year, bringing locals together to talk, reflect and learn more about reconciliation. It’s a chance to honour Indigenous history and hear from community members.

TOPS Pizza is transforming into a Halloween wonderland for the entire month of October, with themed drinks, spooky decorations and a creepy atmosphere to match.

Contemporary Calgary is opening its doors for free this Thursday, and you can check out its new Obsession exhibition while you’re there. The collection features more than 250 skateboards from the 1980s through the early 2000s, plus skate videos and hands-on art.
