Warm weather is finally making an appearance in Calgary this weekend, and we’re taking full advantage. With temperatures finally starting to feel like spring, the city is coming to life in the best way. If you’re ready to take advantage of it and get out this weekend, here are a few things worth adding to your plans.

The Canadian Folk Music Awards are making their way back to Calgary this weekend, bringing together artists from across the country for a weekend full of music, culture, and celebration. You can expect bilingual concerts, award presentations, and a spotlight on some of the most creative artists in the country.

When: Friday, April 10, to Sunday, April 12, 2026
Time: Concert times vary
Where: Hosted across multiple venues throughout the city
Cost: $47.93

The National Women’s Show is taking over the BMO Centre this weekend, and it’s exactly what a girls’ day out should look like. With over 250 exhibits, live fashion shows, culinary demos, and special guests, there’s no shortage of things to see and do.

When: Friday, April 10, to Saturday, April 11, 2026

Catch the Calgary Wranglers this weekend as they take on the Abbotsford Canucks at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
