We’re back to colder days, Vancouver, but that isn’t an excuse to stay in. We’re coming off a long weekend, after all! From a brewery crawl to a Team Canada fan festival, here are 10 of the best things to do in and around Vancouver this week (Feb. 16-20).

Kick off the week at the Team Canada Fan Fest, which will offer fans the chance to share iconic Olympic moments, cheer on Team Canada through live broadcasts of the Milano competitions, and meet the athletes. Or, try your hand at some Olympic sports yourself, including curling and hockey.

When: Monday, Feb. 16, 2026
Time: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: 1055 Canada Place 
Cost: Free admission

North Vancouver’s Monova (Museum and Archives of North Vancouver) will host a full day of family-friendly cultural activities and performances, including the opening of their latest community exhibit, “From Routes to Roots: A Newcomer’s Journey Across North Vancouver.” There will also be caricature art, a comics workshop, crafts, and much more.

When: Monday, Feb. 16, 2026
Time: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: 115 West Esplanade, North Vancouver
Cost: Pay-what-you-can

Now, a little something for the adults. The Shipyards Brewery District is throwing a special Family Day Crawl with $3 tickets, which gets you $3 off your first drink at each participating brewery, cidery, and distillery you visit. So the more spots you crawl to, the more you save.

When: Monday, Feb. 16, 2026
Time: Noon to 9 p.m.
Where: Participating breweries in North Vancouver 
Cost: $3 per ticket (with $3 off your first drink at each brewery)

The Dance Centre and O Dela Arts present the eighth annual Matriarchs Uprising Festival, a celebration of contemporary dance by Indigenous women from across Canada and Australia. There are six programs of live performances from Feb. 18 to 21, along with artist-led talks, dance masterclasses, workshops, and IndiDance on Screen from Feb. 16 to 21, 2026.

Just For Laughs Vancouver is turning 10 this year, and to celebrate, the iconic comedy festival has what is perhaps its most star-studded lineup yet. From David Letterman to Atsuko Okatsuka to Zach Galifianakis, there are tons of big-name comics doing sets at this year’s festival.

When: Thursday, Feb. 12 to 22, 2026
Time: Varies per show
Where: Venues across Vancouver
Cost: Tickets vary per show

Presented as part of Vancouver’s annual Fan Expo, the cinematic event will be a night with the Cullens, which means Ashley Greene (“Alice”), Jackson Rathbone (“Jasper”), Kellan Lutz (“Emmett”), and Peter Facinelli (“Carlisle”) will all be in attendance for a special screening of the original Twilight film.

Where: 1660 East Broadway

The Richmond Cultural Centre and Richmond Public Library are celebrating Family Day with the 17th annual Children’s Arts Festival, which will feature tons of hands-on activities and performances for all ages, including free live music, visual arts, and drop-in friendly workshops.

Time: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: 7700 Minoru Gate, Richmond
Cost: Free admission

The Vancouver Warriors are up against the Buffalo Bandits this week, and it’s sure to be an intense showdown on the turf. Cheer on our home team and kick off the weekend at an energy-packed arena.

When: Friday, Feb. 20, 2026

Where: 800 Griffiths Way

Peekaboo (AKA Matthew Austin Lucas) is a dubstep artist known for his unique blend of freeform bass and space bass, despite beginning as a multi-genre electronic music artist. And he’ll be performing at the Commodore this week.

Love Lights at Capilano Suspension Bridge is still in full swing with whimsical, romantic lights and decor through Feb. 22, 2026.
