Another week, another roundup of fun events to check out in the city! From a pop-up art show to a Valentine’s Day-themed improv performance, here are 10 of the best things to do in and around Vancouver this week (February 18-21).
Circle: An Art-Pop Up
There’s an art pop-up show coming to Progress Lab 1422 featuring a group of local artists who had one month to create new pieces of art. According to the event page, each was given the same prompt; “circle.” And for one night only, art lovers can check out what they came up with – be it visual art, performances, digital art, stand-up, and more.

Odds & Limblifter
Canadian artists Odds and Limblifter have joined forces for a rock band collaboration called “Listening Party,” and they’re performing at The Commodore this Friday, Feb. 21, 2025.

Single, Not Single at the Improv Centre
The Improv Centre on Granville Island has a new show called “Single, Not Single” that’s on every Friday and Saturday until Feb. 28, perfect for date night or a fun end-of-week treat regardless of who you’re with.

Echoes of Memory: Featuring A Crow A Day at MONOVA
From Wednesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., you can check out MONOVA’s rich museum collection, Echoes of Memory, which weaves together over 100 pieces telling untold stories of aging and memory loss, and the power of community in the human experience.

Rich Amiri – War Ready Tour
Known for his 2023 hit single “One Call,” up-and-coming rapper, singer, and songwriter Rich Amiri is coming to Vancouver at the end of the week, performing at The Hollywood.

Just For Laughs
Just For Laughs is Western Canada’s largest comedy festival, and starting Thursday, Feb. 13, a whole roster of talented comedians across genres (stand-up, live podcasts, improv, sketch, and more) are performing at venues across the city.

Love Lights at Capilano Suspension Bridge
You don’t have to be coupled up to enjoy the transformed Capilano Suspension Bridge for Valentine’s Day. Walk high above the forest floor with a loved one and commemorate your visit with some fun pics under the K.I.S.S.I.N.G Tree or themed light displays.

Robson Square Ice Rink
Robson Square’s ice skating rink is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. until the end of the month, so be sure to get your skate time in!
