Don’t let the sting of a work day on Monday pull you out of your long weekend groove! Vancouver is rolling into July with exciting Canada Day festivities, a final Wu-Tang Clan tour, Theatre Under the Stars, and a massive EDM festival. Here are 10 of the best things to do in and around Vancouver this week (June 30 to July 4).

Why not kick off the week with a concert to remember? Hip-hop legends Wu-Tang Clan are going on one last trek across North America and stopping at Rogers Arena.

The Malkin Bowl at Stanley Park is once again transforming into a magical summertime destination for this year’s Theatre Under the Stars program, which weaves Stanley Park’s beautiful surroundings with the stories of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Legally Blonde from June 27, 2025 to Aug. 16, 2025, with performances alternating every evening in between.

When: Friday, June 27 to Aug. 16, 2025
Time: Varies per show
Where: 610 Pipeline Rd. 
Cost: $35 to $69

Cheer on the Vancouver Canadians as they face off against the Everett AquaSox this week, and treat yourself to a foot-long hot dog, because why not?

The game on Thursday, July 3, 2025, will be followed by fireworks!

When: Tuesday, July 1, Wednesday, July 2, and Thursday, July 3, 2025

On Canada Day, all of the performances at Ocean Artworks on Granville Island are free to enjoy, as the final day of the Vancouver International Jazz Fest. The day kicks off with a performance by the Evan Arntzen Quartet with special guest Lloyd Arntzen, and ends with one by the Cowboy Bebop Bebop Band.

Canada Day in Coquitlam returns to Town Centre Park with a range of entertainment, multicultural performances, fireworks, food, and free and family-friendly fun.

Where: 1299 Pinetree Way, Coquitlam 
Cost: Free admission

Artemis Space Adventure is Science World’s newest feature exhibition, exploring space through fun, interactive LEGO® challenges hosted by Vancouver’s Community for Adult Fans of LEGO®. Build your own LEGO creations with guided prompts and code a micro:bit robot to navigate space.

FVDED In the Park is back with a star-studded lineup of EDM artists this weekend, and the festivities kick off on Friday, July 4, 2025. So get ready for non-stop dancing, music, friends, and party vibes.

Time: 2 to 11 p.m.
Where: 13428 Old Yale Rd., Surrey
Cost: $190.94 to $213.65 for a one-day pass

The 2025 Bard on the Beach Shakespeare Festival is kicking off with Much Ado About Nothing and The Two Gentlemen of Verona at Vanier Park. So get ready for an outdoor theatre production like no other.

The beloved Shipyards Night Market is back every Friday until September, providing the perfect opportunity to hit some patios or breweries after work, enjoy some live music, and snag some food truck eats at Shipbuilders Square.

Where: The Shipyards, North Vancouver

Vancouver’s self-guided Ice Cream Fest is back this summer with over 30 participating ice cream spots across Metro Vancouver, from BETA5 to Bella Gelateria. So if you’re looking to beat the heat and want to try a new spot, this is a great opportunity to do both.
