Another week, another roundup! Labour Day weekend might be over, but the fun certainly isn’t. From free outdoor yoga to the return of the beloved Vancouver Fringe Fest, here are 10 of the best things to do in and around Vancouver this week (Sept. 8-11).

If your favourite way to unwind is on a yoga mat, preferably outdoors, then we have just the summer activity for you. The Lululemon Summer Yoga Series is back every Tuesday until Sept. 8, and it’s completely free to reserve your spot.

When: Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2026
Time: 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Where: 15 Wallace Mews, North Vancouver
Cost: Free admission

English artist Artemas, with viral hits such as “If U Think I’m Pretty” and “I Like the Way You Kiss Me,” is performing at Stanley Park’s Malkin Bowl this Tuesday.

When: Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2026

Where: 610 Pipeline Rd.

Can’t get enough of this summer’s soccer craze? This Saturday, the Vancouver Whitecaps FC will take on the LA Galaxy at BC Place.

Vancouver’s beloved annual Fringe Fest is back starting this week, with over 80 local shows to discover ranging from live theatre to dance, drag, and stand-up. If you ever catch yourself wondering what to do or see between Sept. 10 and 20, consider catching a show and supporting the diverse local arts scene we have in the city!

Hot Off the Press is a celebration of all forms of printmaking, showcasing everything from screen printing to linocuts to giclees, all by talented local artists. The show is on display until Sept. 26 and is curated by Natasha Redwood-Scribe.

The beloved Shipyards Night Market is back every Friday until September, providing the perfect opportunity to hit some patios or breweries after work, enjoy some live music, and snag some food truck eats at Shipbuilders Square.

Where: The Shipyards, North Vancouver

Country artist Cody Johnson is bringing his latest tour to Vancouver’s Rogers Arena this Friday, Sept. 11.

When: Friday, Sept. 11, 2026

The iconic Shakespeare comedy The Merry Wives of Windsor is kicking off this year’s Bard on the Beach program, set in the community athletic centre of a (fictional) Vancouver suburb that happens to be obsessed with soccer. There are also a handful of other Shakespeare-inspired productions to keep an eye out for if you’re ready to check out what’s onstage next: Macbeth (now until Sept. 18), Goblin:Oedipus (now until Sept. 19), and Antigone (now until Sept. 18).

When: Shows throughout July, August, and September
Time: Showtimes at 2 and 7:30 p.m.

The zipline is back, the less-than-$10 happy hour items are back, and tons of exciting new attractions await at this year’s Richmond Night Market.

The Vancouver Maritime Museum has officially partnered with Vancouver by Sea to launch a new, immersive sailing experience that explores Vancouver’s fascinating maritime past and present, and the views alone are well worth it. The museum-to-yacht experience begins this Thursday, June 11.

When: Select Thursdays and Sundays in June, July, August, and September, starting June 11, 2026
Time: 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., or 2 to 5 p.m.
Where: The yacht departs from Vancouver Maritime Museum — 1905 Ogden Ave.
Cost: $1,099 per group (up to eight passengers)
