Get ready for a jam-packed weekend of outdoor fun, Vancouver! Whether you want to enjoy classical music at the park, dance to DJs and local bands at Khatsahlano, or boogie at Vancouver’s largest Latin American festival, there are plenty of ways to get on your feet over the next few days. Here are 10 of the best things to do in and around Vancouver this weekend (July 10-12).

One of Vancouver’s most iconic summertime traditions is set to bring together the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and hundreds of classical music lovers for a magical evening you won’t soon forget. The outdoor concert will take place on Saturday, July 11, at David Lam Park this year.

When: Saturday, July 11, 2026
Time: 8 p.m.
Where: 1300 Pacific Blvd.
Cost: Free

Vancouver’s largest free arts and music festival is Khatsahlano, which transforms West 4th Avenue into a day party like no other. Live music across multiple stages, food and drink vendors galore, and beer gardens with dance floors. What more could you possibly need for the perfect summer street party?

When: Saturday, July 11, 2026
Time: Noon to 9 p.m.
Where: West 4th Avenue between MacDonald and Burrard streets
Cost: Free admission

Carnaval del Sol 2026 returns to Vancouver’s Jonathan Rogers Park July 10–12 as the Pacific Northwest’s largest Latin American festival. Carnaval del Sol 2026 brings together more than 350 artists for three days of live music, dance, food, fútbol and cultural celebration. Highlights include a Latin American parade, diverse food offerings, family activities, and themed plazas for art, wellness and community experiences.

When: Friday, July 10 to Sunday, July 12, 2026
Time: Kicks off at 5 p.m. on Friday
Where: 110 West 7th Ave. 
Cost: $18 to $60 for GA

This Saturday is the annual Commercial Street Block Party, bringing together fun live music, tasty food, and artisan vendors for a day of community and connection. It’s a great spot to connect with your neighbours and bring the whole family out, as there will be a dedicated kids’ zone. There will also be special snacks and drinks available at Collective Goods Bistro from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Time: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Vancouver’s Greek Summerfest is now in its 40th year, so if you missed out on Greek Day on Broadway, you’re in luck. This massive free outdoor festival spans two weekends, and it kicks off this weekend.

When: Thursday, July 9, to Sunday, July 12, and Thursday, July 16, to Sunday, July 19, 2026
Time: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., or later on Fridays and Saturdays
Where: 4541 Boundary Rd.
Admission: Free admission

The Heated Rivalry vinyl release party at Neptoon Records will celebrate the release of the show’s legendary soundtrack on vinyl, and if you arrive early, you could get your hands on some fun freebies and signed prizes,

This week, the Vancouver Canadians are up against the Everett Aquasox, with games every day until Sunday, July 12.

This summer, two beloved musicals known for their feel-good music and inspiring storylines take the stage at Vancouver’s Malkin Bowl. Theatre Under the Stars is officially back for its 86th year of live theatre, showcasing Sister Act and Disney’s The Little Mermaid.

The iconic Shakespeare comedy The Merry Wives of Windsor is kicking off this year’s Bard on the Beach program, and you won’t want to miss it. The music-filled adaptation is set in the community athletic centre of a (fictional) Vancouver suburb that happens to be obsessed with soccer. In it, the main character, John Falstaff, attempts to woo two married women so he can steal their husbands’ fortunes, but the two women instead come together to turn the tables on him.

Cost: $30 to $103 per person, depending on seating

Ice cream crawl, anyone? The Vancouver Ice Cream Fest is the perfect way to try a wide range of scoops from as many ice cream shops as your heart desires. It’s Metro Vancouver’s largest self-guided ice cream and frozen dessert festival for a reason.
