10 of the best things to do in Toronto this weekend (March 28-30)

27 March 20254 Mins Read

Is it just me, or did this week fly by? I’m not complaining. The weekend is just around the corner, and in the city, there’s plenty to get up to. Spring has arrived, so get out of the house and check out these 10 things to do this weekend in Toronto.

The birds are back! The first weekend of MLB is here, and the Jays are playing home games Friday, Saturday, and Sunday against the Orioles.

Grab tickets and kick off the season right.

Where: Rogers Centre — 1 Blue Jays Way
Cost: $38+ per ticket

The Canadian classic musical Come From Away has shows each day this weekend. Tickets start at $59.

When: Friday, March 28 to Sunday, March 30
Where: Royal Alexandra Theatre — 260 King St. W
Cost: $59+ per ticket

“As Canada’s flagship craft show, the One Of A Kind Spring Show features the works of 400+ of the most talented artisans from across the country.” Yep, The One Of A Kind Show is in Toronto for its spring rendition and will be running all weekend.

The Toronto Raptors are at home this weekend in a meeting with the Charlotte Hornets. Personally, Raptors games are one of my favourite things to do in the city, so get some tickets (I know I am).

Where: Scotiabank Arena — 40 Bay St.
Cost: $57+ per ticket

According to Mel Lastman Square, “From March 29 to April 13, become part of an immersive, interactive spring garden experience that will transform Yonge North York into a wonderland of floral sculptures, music integration, and cutting-edge technology.”

Enchanted Lights is the perfect place to bring a date or your family, and the best part is that admission is free.

When: Begins Saturday, March 29
Where: Mel Lastman Square — 5100 Yonge St.

Gamers, this one is for you. The Toronto Game Expo will feature all things gaming, including 500 exhibitor tables, free console games, an artist valley, free arcade games and sweet raffle prizes.

When: Saturday, March 29 to Sunday, March 30
Where: Exhibition Place’s Queen Elizabeth Building — 180 Princes’ Blvd

TIme to hang up those skis — but not before one last bash. Black Sheep is holding a day-to-night rooftop party in honour of the apres ski season coming to an end.

Don’t forget to dress up!

When: Saturday, March 29 from noon to 7 p.m.
Where: Black Sheep Irish Cocktail Bar — 165 E Liberty St., 3rd Floor

TFC fans, the Reds are at BMO Field this weekend, hosting the Vancouver Whitecaps.

Tickets are still available and reasonably priced, starting at $18.

Where: Scotiabank Arena — 40 Bay St.
Cost: $88.50+ per ticket

Craving a workout this weekend? Active Girls TO is hosting a strength training workout class at the Kimpton Saint George on Sunday, and guests will go home with good bags worth over $250.
