Easter brunch in Toronto is the perfect way to make the most of the long weekend while finally checking out that spot you’ve been dying to try.
From tried-and-true classics to buzzy, brand-new hotspots, and from all-you-can-eat buffets to refined prix-fixe menus, Toronto’s restaurant scene has your brunch plans covered all weekend long, whether you celebrate Easter or not.
Here are my picks for restaurants you should check out for Easter Brunch 2025 in Toronto.
Le Lert
This Thai restaurant excels at brunch on any average day, and for Easter, they’re really taking things above and beyond with the addition of a particularly theatrical dessert offering.
On Sunday, April 20, anyone who orders their Pink Tres Leches will find a hidden egg inside. Crack it open, and you’ll discover a special prize. It’s a gift that keeps on giving.
Pure Spirits Oyster House
If the Easter Bunny brought you a buffet craving this year, you’re in luck at this Distillery District stalwart, which will be offering an all-you-can-eat spread crafted by Executive Chef Jason McLaren for just $35 per person on both April 19 and 20.
Everything from lemon buttermilk pancakes to soy-glazed salmon and all the brunch staples you could possibly dream of are on the menu. To make matters even sweeter, the Distillery is hosting a free Easter egg hunt all weekend long.
Gateau Ghost
Easily one of the most buzzed-over brunch spots to open over the past year, this Brockton Village spot is keeping it simple with their regular menu of decadent brunch staples, but, hey, why mess with perfection anyway?
Gateau Ghost is keeping things simple and sumptuous for Easter brunch this year.
Casa Madera
This luxe Mexican-Mediterranean restaurant in the base of 1 Hotel has historically been a hot spot for dinner and drinks, but on April 20, it’s offering its first-ever Sunday brunch service.
Priced at $120 per person, the options are seemingly endless, including a bountiful raw bar, droolworthy desserts and decadent Prime Tomahawk steaks, so you can be sure that you won’t walk away hungry.
Manita Rosedale
Now’s your chance to test out whether the recently-opened Rosedale sister location to an Ossington staple measures up to the original (spoiler alert: it will), as they spend Easter Sunday serving up their standard menu of simple and sophisticated classics.
L’ Avenue Toronto
It’s been nearly impossible to score a reservation at the first Toronto location of this Montreal-based breakfast chain ever since they opened at The Well, but the long weekend’s extra day might just give you the chance.
You can expect their regular menu of larger-than-life brunch offerings this weekend, from Dubai Chocolate French Toast to Smoked Meat Poutine, with the added benefit of Easter chocolates served alongside your coffee.
You can sample some larger-than-life creations at L’Avenue.
Alder
Opt for the $50 prix fixe menu at this eclectic eatery located in the Ace Hotel, and you’ll find yourself dining on your choice of favourites like fried chicken, avocado toast, smoked salmon bagels and lobster brioche.
If you really want to make the most out of your brunch experience, you can also tack bottomless mimosas onto your order for an extra $30. That’s what I’d do, anyway.
The Real Jerk Gerrard St.
Eschew the tried-and-true eggs and bacon and opt for island vibes at this legendary Caribbean restaurant’s Leslieville location, where they’re offering a $25 brunch menu replete with favourites that range from ackee and saltfish to stew chicken.
Sammi
Ever wonder how they do brunch in Hong Kong? Well, you don’t have to, because that’s exactly what this sleek and cozy Danforth spot serves up.
While Hong Kong-style staples like satay beef noodles, pineapple buns and pork chop rice all populate their regular menu, you may also want to keep your eyes peeled for some Easter-specific offerings sneaking their way onto the menu this weekend.
The pineapple bun is a favourite for breakfast in Hong Kong, and it may become your new favourite, too.
Bkookies Cafe
This Little Italy eatery is offering 10 per cent off their entire brunch menu all weekend long, alongside a pastry counter brimming with Easter-specific treats, like hot cross buns and a new strawberry matcha latte that could quite possibly give Forget Me Not Cafe’s banana bread one a run for its money.
