Another Thursday has arrived, and the city will soon be buzzing with everything from festivals to concerts, shows, and even a dark circus. Not sure what’s going on? Here are 10 things to do this weekend in Calgary!

This weekend, catch Storybook Theatre’s production of the Jonathan Larson classic, Rent. There is no day but today to check it out, so get your tickets now.

EPIC Weekends at Spruce Meadows kick off this weekend. From outdoor movies every Friday to live music on Saturday and Sunday, corgi and dachshund races, food, drinks and kids activities, you’re not going to want to miss a beat. The best part? Tickets start at just $5 for kids and seniors and $15 for adults.

When: Fridays to Sundays from June 6 to 8, 13 to 15, 27 to 29, and July 4 to 6, 2025

This weekend, see where the rivers meet and enjoy a drink on the paw-tio. “Drop by the perfect pathway pit stop with the whole family – babies and furbabies alike,” the event writes. While there, do not forget to check out the 403Market, which is also on site.
