With markets, festivals, scavenger hunts, and sales, the city is practically your oyster. Here are just 10 incredible things to do this weekend in Calgary… in addition to taking your Mom for brunch this Sunday!

Looking for a unique gift? Check out Millarville’s spring market this Saturday with a friend, a family member, or a loved one. You never know what you might find!

When: May 10, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Millarville Racing and Agricultural Society, 192 Street, Millarville, Alta.
Cost: $3

This weekend, run, walk, sprint, or wheel in the Sport Chek Mother’s Day Run, Calgary’s largest family fundraising events that support the Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charity and Calgary Health Foundation. Good luck, stay hydrated, and have fun.

When: May 11, 2025, at 9 a.m.

Shop after dark! This weekend, vendors from all over the city will take to Inglewood for their beloved night market, which has a beer garden, food trucks, live music, and so much more. You will not want to miss it.

Established in 1967, Nikka Yuko was “built to recognize contributions made by citizens of Japanese ancestry to the multi-cultural community of Lethbridge,” and emulates the many authentic gardens overseas. This place is by far one of the most beautiful spots in all of Alberta, and it has finally reopened for the season.
