The sun is shining, the air is fresh, and we’re ready for another wonderful weekend. Not sure how to enjoy the big city this time around? From live sports and festivals to escape rooms and dance parties, here are 10 things to do in Edmonton over the next few days.

This weekend, catch the tail end of the Edmonton International Jazz Festival, which has been bringing the world’s best jazz to Edmonton since 2006. Tickets are still available now

Food, fun, and pride! This Friday, the Chew Project will host a big BBQ for youth and young adults. Enjoy drag performances, ice cream, tasty grub and more. Admission is free.

This weekend, the Edmonton Carnaval will return. From music and food to dancing and fun, you won’t want to miss a beat. The best part? It’s also free to attend.

Step right up, step right up. Featuring contemporary circus acts, interactive workshops, and outdoor pop-ups, the Albera Circus Arts Festival is not to be missed.

Need to beat the heat? Discovery Canyon has a lazy river and a waterpark located just an hour and a half away from Edmonton. There’s an entire day’s worth of fun stuff to do, so plan ahead and bring some good company.

An eerie, immersive escape game will take over Fort Edmonton this weekend. During Where the Dark Things Dwell, solve puzzles and uncover secrets to earn your freedom. You never know who or what might be lurking around the corners.

This weekend, discover the last wonder of the ancient world: Khufu. This 45-minute virtual reality experience immerses you in the largest and oldest pyramid on the Giza Plateau so don’t miss out.

It’s game time! This weekend, the Stingers will face off against the Scarborough Shooting Stars, and you never know what could happen. From fast breaks and buzzer beaters to electric halftime entertainment, every game is a good game at the Expo Centre.
