It Takes a Village is the Upper Village BIA’s free Thursday-evening festival on Eglinton Avenue West. Each week the neighbourhood gathers for a community market of local makers and food vendors, live entertainment, family-friendly activities and pop-ups from Upper Village shops and restaurants. Come shop local, grab dinner from a vendor and stay for the evening. Free admission, all ages welcome, no registration required.

After weeks of FIFA World Cup action, Toronto’s The Bentway is back to business, opening up its 200-metre skating trail for another season of roller skating under the Gardiner.

These include skate parties, beginner lessons, art workshops, family programming, and the launch of a brand-new after-school program for young city-builders.
