Here’s to another week of fun-filled things to do in Toronto this May. From comedy shows to exciting events and fun experiences, Toronto has plenty to offer. To help you plan, we’ve rounded up the best things to do in Toronto. Get ready for a fun-filled week!

Here are 10 things to do this week:

Need something to do on a Monday night? Go out for a laugh! Mood Swing Mondays at Wenona brings local comedic talent trying out new material and developing their craft in front of an amazing live audience.

Though it’s a free event, a minimum drink purchase is required.

When: May 12, 2025, 7:15 to 9 p.m.
Where: Wenona – 1069 Bloor St. W.
Cost: Free

Cheer on the Jays as they face off against the Tampa Bay Rays this week.

When: May 13, 2025 at 7:07 p.m.
Where: Rogers Centre
Cost: $20+

Practice a new language and meet new people from all over the world. For you dancers, take part in a beginner-friendly Latin dance lesson from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Just have fun and make friends — that’s what it’s all about! Tickets are still on sale

When: May 13, 2025
Where: STACKT Market
Cost: $10 + tax

Tulum meets Toronto! Vibe the day away at this day party inside NODO in Liberty ,Village. Expect Tribal, Afro and Organic House beats, along with live body painting, fire dancers, cocktails, and more.

When: May 16, 2025, 2 to 11 p.m.
Where: NODO Liberty, 120 Lynn Williams St.
Cost: $39.97 and up

Disney’s The Lion King is ready for another week of shows! Tickets start at $49, with multiple shows to pick from.

When: May 13-16, 2025
Where: Princess of Wales Theatre – 300 King St. W.
Cost: $49+

The big top is up, Toronto. Cirque du Soleil’s OVO show continues in the city this week.

The shows will run until late June.

When: May 14-16, 2025
Where: 2150 Lake Shore Blvd. W.
Cost: $83+ per ticket

Messy Margaret will be at The Well on Church for an evening of Drag Bingo. Admission is free and the wings are $1.

“We’ll play some bingo and we’ll also do some fun drag performances for you as well,” shares organizers. Don’t miss out!

When: May 14, 2025 at 7 p.m.
Where: The Well Restaurant & Bar — 487 Church St.
Cost: Free

The Why Not More? Tour is just a few days away, and Coco Jones is ready to give it her all at History.

When: May 16, 2025 at 7 p.m.
Where: History Toronto
Cost: $51+

Toronto Night Market is putting on this shopping, food, and entertainment experience for nine weekends — the perfect way to spend an evening.

The night markets will run from Friday to Sunday. Each Friday will be open from 6 to 11 p.m., Saturdays from 5 to 11 p.m. and Sundays from 3 to 8 p.m.

Entry to any of the markets is totally free, too.

When: May 16 to 18, 2025
Where: 415 King St. W.
Cost: Free admission

An immersive cherry blossom installation has taken over Toronto’s renowned Akira Back. The stunning floral display was created and brought to life by boutique design studio The Rustic Vine.

Enjoy the ambience and their limited edition menu that celebrates the beauty of Japan’s most iconic season.
