It’s the last full week of May, and we’re making the most of it! From theatre shows to exciting events and fun experiences, Toronto has plenty to offer. To help you plan, we’ve rounded up the best things to do in Toronto. Get ready for a fun-filled week!

Here are 10 things to do this week:

The Grammy-nominated hit singer will be bringing “The Big Ass Stadium Tour” to Toronto on Monday.

Tickets are still available.

When: May 26, 2025, at 6:30 p.m.
Where: Rogers Centre
Cost: $165+

The legend returns to the stage and will be taking over Scotiabank Arena.

Tickets for Shakira are still on sale, so don’t miss out on an amazing night.

When: May 26, 2025, at 7:30 p.m.
Where: Scotiabank Arena
Cost: $363+

Disney’s The Lion King is ready for another week of shows! Tickets start at $49, with multiple shows to pick from.

When: May 27 to 30, 2025, at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. on select days
Where: Princess of Wales Theatre – 300 King St. W.
Cost: $49+

The big top is up, Toronto. Cirque du Soleil is gearing up as the OVO show continues this week.

The shows will run until late June.

When: May 28 to 30, 2025
Where: 2150 Lake Shore Blvd. W.
Cost: $83+ per ticket

It’s time to bring our focus to the Blue Jays and cheer them on, especially this week as they face off against the Athletics.

When: May 29 and 30, 2025
Where: Rogers Centre
Cost: $20+

Calling all travellers! Make your way to the World of Travel Expo at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. This is your chance to explore new locations and meet industry experts. Taste authentic cuisines, participate in hands-on activities, and attend informative seminars too!

When: May 30 and 31, 2025, from noon to 5 p.m.
Where: Metro Toronto Convention Centre
Cost: $16

Toronto Night Market is putting on this shopping, food, and entertainment experience for nine weekends — the perfect way to spend an evening.

The night markets will run from Friday to Sunday. Each Friday will be open from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., Saturdays from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Sundays from 3 to 8 p.m.

Entry to any of the markets is totally free, too.

When: May 30 to June 1, 2025
Where: 415 King St. W.
Cost: Free admission

The Aga Khan Museum has a “permanent collection of over 1,200 masterpieces and innovative performing arts and educational programming,” and on Wednesdays, you don’t need to worry about paying for admission.

The free admission promotion runs on Wednesdays during extended hours from 4 to 8 p.m.

When: Every Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m.
Where: 77 Wynford Dr.
Cost: Free

Lighthouse ArtSpace Toronto has launched The New Immersive Van Gogh: The Next Chapter. According to organizers, it will immerse you in Van Gogh’s world and beyond the original exhibition.

When: Wednesdays to Sundays
Where: Lighthouse ArtSpace Toronto — 1 Yonge St.
Cost: $18+

An immersive cherry blossom installation has taken over Toronto’s renowned Akira Back. The stunning floral display was created and brought to life by boutique design studio The Rustic Vine.

Enjoy the ambience and their limited edition menu that celebrates the beauty of Japan’s most iconic season.

When: Until May 31, 2025
Where: Akira Back
Cost: Special limited-time menu — pricing varies
