It’s the last full week of April, and we’re enjoying it to its fullest! From concerts to exciting events and fun experiences, Toronto has plenty to offer. To help you plan, we’ve rounded up the best things to do in Toronto. Get ready for a fun-filled week!

Here are 10 things to do this week:

Snag your tickets for Remi Wolf’s second show at History this week. You don’t want to miss out.

When: April 22, 2025 starting at 7 p.m.
Where: History – 1663 Queen St. E.
Cost: $68+

Are you a trivia wiz? Head to Insomnia Restaurant and Lounge on April 15, 2025, for an evening of trivia fun. The event is hosted by comedian Ari Issac and other hilarious hosts every Tuesday. There will be 10 categories and interactive games focused on celebs, TV, movies, music, and more.

Know your stuff and win a prize!

When: April 22, 2025, at 7 p.m.
Where: Insomnia Restaurant and Lounge – 563 Bloor St. W.
Cost: Free

Barry Can’t Swim returns to Toronto this week! He’s bringing his house and afrobeat sounds to the stage. Get your tickets ASAP.

When: April 23, 2025 starting at 7 p.m.
Where: History – 1663 Queen St. E.
Cost: $77+

The Canadian classic musical Come From Away has shows each day this week. Tickets start at $59.

When: April 23 to 25, 2025
Where: Royal Alexandra Theatre — 260 King St. W.
Cost: $59+ per ticket

Are you ready to rock? Head to The Great Hall for an evening that organizers say you won’t forget. “Get ready for an evening filled with surprises, laughter, and good vibes. Whether you’re a regular or a first-timer, this event is all about having a great time with old and new friends.”

When: April 25, 2025 starting at 8 p.m.
Where: The Great Hall – A Vintage Venue – 1087 Queen St. W.
Cost: Starting at $30 + tax

The Aga Khan Museum has a “permanent collection of over 1,200 masterpieces and innovative performing arts and educational programming,” and on Wednesdays, you don’t need to worry about paying for admission.

The free admission promotion runs on Wednesdays during extended hours from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

When: Every Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: 77 Wynford Dr.
Cost: Free

Starting April 11, Lighthouse ArtSpace Toronto will launch The New Immersive Van Gogh: The Next Chapter. According to organizers, it will immerse you into Van Gogh’s world and beyond the original exhibition.

When: Wednesdays to Sundays
Where: Lighthouse ArtSpace Toronto — 1 Yonge St.
Cost: $18+

Toronto’s beloved documentary film festival is back this spring.

Hot Docs showcases thought-provoking films made by Canadian and international documentary filmmakers. If you love powerful storytelling and breathtaking cinematics, this event is not one to miss.

When: April 24 to May 4, 2025
Where: Hot Docs Ted Rogers Cinema – 506 Bloor St.
Cost: Single tickets are on sale to the public starting April 1, 2025

The Well, Toronto’s popular shopping centre with everything from fitness studios to stores to restaurants, is adding a pickleball court and lounge. Pickleplex, a Canadian-born and operated organization, will take over the space for a limited time only.

When: Open from now until May 4, 2025
Where: The Well — 486 Front St. W.
Cost: $40 to rent court, $5 for paddle rental

All 10 of the Toronto History Museums have free admission at all times!

According to the City of Toronto, this is “to provide everyone an opportunity to fully participate in cultural heritage and spaces.”
