We’re up for another fabulous weekend in the city! Sunny skies, warm weather and the best city vibes. We’re here for it. Luckily for us, there are tons of things to do in Toronto this weekend that will keep us outdoors this weekend.

Here are 10 of the best things to do this weekend in Toronto.

Expect late-night eats, spectacular Lion and Dragon Dances, a cultural artisan market, and so much more.

When: Friday, Aug. 14 to Sunday, Aug. 16, 2026
Time:
Friday from 6 p.m. to midnight, Saturday from 4 p.m. to midnight and Sunday from 2 to 11 p.m.
Where: Hotel X Toronto, Exhibition Grounds – 115 Princes’ Blvd.
Cost: Starting at $25

Open Canvas City Tour is bringing two days of live music and art to several stages across Toronto. Here you can discover local artists and new spaces, and enjoy the city in a whole new way.

When: Saturday, Aug. 15 and Sunday, Aug. 16, 2026
Time: 3 to 11 p.m.
Where: Trillium Park and 226 Geary Ave.
Cost: Varies from free to $25.50

Get your hands on free custom Pepsi sips. You can choose your favourite Pepsi soda, syrups, and toppings for the perfect summer float.

When: Friday, Aug. 13 to Sunday, Aug. 16, 2026
Time: Noon to 5:30 p.m.
Where: Spots across the city
Cost: Free

Free ice cream! Hulu on Disney+ is bringing the Ice Stream Truck to some of Ontario’s most popular summer destinations, and it’s coming to Toronto. The pop-up experience will serve four limited-edition ice cream flavours. Ruru Baked and Eatable Popcorn have partnered with the brand to bring this to life. “Each flavour is inspired by a different fan-favourite Hulu genre and paired with curated Hulu on Disney+ watchlist recommendations,” according to organizers.

It’ll stop at Steam Whistle Brewing (Pilsner Patio) on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Queen Street West/Ossington Avenue on Sunday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

When: Saturday, Aug. 15 and Sunday, Aug. 16, 2026
Time: (first location) 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., (second location) 3 to 6 p.m.
Where: Steam Whistle Brewing — 255 Bremner Blvd.; Queen Street West/Ossington Avenue

Sunset Salsa is back at The Well this August. For the next few Saturdays (Sept. 12 included), the dancing event will offer 45-minute salsa lessons from a different instructor each week. It starts at 4 p.m., and then DJs will take over until 9 p.m. Think salsa, bachata, and cha-cha music. Olé Mocktails and cocktails will be available for sampling and purchase at the Pier Bar, along with food from Gus Tacos.

Cost: Free

After her concert, Kehlani will take over DPRTMNT on Sunday, bringing one of R&B’s biggest names to Toronto for a special night in the heart of the Entertainment District.

Each year, the Toronto Music Garden is transformed into a breathtaking open-air theatre, where music and nature intertwine in perfect harmony.

Locals and visitors alike are invited to experience the magic, as the sounds of talented Canadian artists and international names fill the garden with melody, rhythm, and soul, all completely free of charge.

When: Thursdays and Sundays until Aug. 27, 2026
Time: Thursdays at 7 p.m. and Sundays at 4 p.m.
Where: Toronto Music Garden — 479 Queens Quay W.
Cost: Free

The Toronto Country Fest will bring 18 days of live entertainment, western-inspired experiences, and family-friendly activities to The Distillery District.

When: Until Sunday, Aug. 23, 2026
Time: Daily from 1 p.m. to late
Where: The Distillery Historic District — 55 Mill St.
Cost: Admission is free; some activities may be paid

After weeks of FIFA World Cup action, Toronto’s The Bentway is back to business, opening up its 200-metre skating trail for another season of roller skating under the Gardiner.

Not only will you be able to enjoy some skating action this summer, but you will also be able to take part in a series of community-driven events. These include skate parties, beginner lessons, art workshops, family programming, and the launch of a brand-new after-school program for young city-builders.

When: Until Sept. 27, 2026
Time: Fridays from 5 to 9 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays from 1 to 8 p.m.
Where: The Bentway Skate Trail — 250 Fort York Blvd.
Cost: Skating is free; rentals start at $18 (plus tax)
