10 things to do this weekend in Toronto (Dec. 12-14)

11 December 20254 Mins Read

We’re getting closer and closer to the holidays, and the city is celebrating accordingly. We’ve made it to the second weekend of December, and if you feel like the month is flying by, same. It’s time to get out and enjoy the festive happenings in Toronto before it’s all over, and we have you covered.

Here are 10 of the best things to do this weekend in Toronto

The best part of Toronto’s holiday season.

The Distillery Winter Village is on again this weekend, and if you haven’t been yet, this is your sign to go.

Where: The Distillery District – 55 Mill St.
Cost: $15 per person

Casa Loma’s Christmas at the Castle and Holiday Lights Tour is on now.

Wander around trails, light tunnels, and festive displays at one of the city’s most magical seasonal experiences.

When: Friday, Dec. 12, to Sunday, Dec. 14, 2025 (open until Jan. 6, 2026)
Where: Casa Loma – 1 Austin Terr.

All aboard!

This year, the beloved Harbourfront Express will have two classic choo-choo trains that will take you around a “frosted fairyland.”

“The sparkling lights and seasonal sights make this fun-filled ride perfect for everyone looking to welcome some yuletide cheer,” Harbourfront Centre shares.

Where: Harbourfront Centre – 235 Queens Quay W.

I truly love Stackd Market, and during the holidays, it transforms into the cutest festive experience.

I love to just walk around and shop, but there’s plenty of other things to do, like lounge by the fire pit, grab a drink at one of the pop-up bars, or play a round at the curling rink.

When: Friday, Dec. 12, to Sunday, Dec. 14, 2025 (open until Jan. 6, 2026)
Where: Stackt Market – 28 Bathurst St.
Cost: Free admission
