We’re in for another fabulous weekend in the city! This week flew by, but hey, we’re not complaining. Luckily, there are tons of things to do in Toronto this weekend that will make you want to head out and get some fresh air.

Here are 10 of the best things to do this weekend in Toronto.

Where: RBC Amphitheatre — 909 Lake Shore Blvd. W.
Cost: $35+

The first edition of the Melanin Market is back this June. Support local vendors and creators at Sankofa Square this Friday.

When: Friday, June 5, 2026
Time: 2 to 9 p.m.
Where: Sankofa Square — 1 Dundas St. E.
Cost: Free

Organized by the Lakeshore Village BIA, this community event celebrates local businesses and our collective love for the sandwich. Now entering its eighth year, the Grilled Cheese Challenge has become one of the neighbourhood’s signature summer events.

When: Saturday, June 6, 2026
Time: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: Lake Shore Boulevard West (between Islington Avenue and Second Street)
Cost: Free

A free music festival with Alessia Cara, Feist, Broken Social Scene, and more is taking over Toronto’s Nathan Phillips Square this Saturday.

TOgether for Toronto Healthcare is a free one-day music and wellness festival featuring an impressive lineup like Feist, Alessia Cara, Broken Social Scene, and Paul Langlois of The Tragically Hip. Organizers also hint at surprise guests and “special moments” throughout the day.

When: Saturday, June 6, 2026
Time: Noon to late
Where: Nathan Phillips Square — 100 Queen St. W.
Cost: Free

This popular festival is back for the 2026 season, kicking off on June 5. For those hearing of this event for the first time, it features free musical performances, art installations, local businesses, artisan vendors, and so much more.

Street festivals are BACK!

When: Friday, June 5 to Sunday, June 7, 2026

: Dundas Street West, Ossington Avenue to Lansdowne Avenue
Cost: Free

Tickets are still available for Don Toliver’s Octane Tour. It’s all going down at the Scotiabank Arena, and you don’t want to miss out.

The beloved annual event is back and will run every weekend until Sept. 27. Whether you’re looking to pick up art, stationery, candles, or just a fun knick-knack, head to the Kensington Flea Market this weekend.

When: Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7, 2026
Time: 11 a.m to 7 p.m.
Where: 216 Augusta Ave.
Cost: Free

In Support of You Do You Foundation, the new and exciting experience will bring together drag, music, performance, and community under one roof. Fierce and Fabulous Expo is described as “a vibrant cultural gathering designed to celebrate queer creativity on a national stage.”

When: Saturday, June 5 and Sunday, June 6, 2026
Where: Metro Toronto Convention Centre – 222 Bremner Blvd., Toronto
Cost: $30+ taxes and fees

According to a press release, this exhibition will feature a curated selection of iconic works spanning the artist’s career and lasting cultural impact.

The showcase will bring together works produced posthumously over the past 25 years by the estate. These include the newest release, King Alphonso, 1982/2025.

This work is a limited-edition screenprint of 60 pieces and reflects recurring themes found throughout Basquiat’s career, which include power, identity, race, and mythology.

When: Until Thursday, June 11, 2026
Time: 6 to 8 p.m.
Where: Taglialatella Galleries — 99 Yorkville Ave.
Cost: Free

In partnership with Soul Expansion, the series combines movement, breathwork, and live music into one early-morning experience.

According to Casa Loma, each session will begin at 9 a.m. and run until 11 a.m. It’ll begin with a collaborative wellness class led by a community leader in yoga, pilates, or stretching before moving into the Soul Expansion experience led by Freddy Gervasi and The Band of Souls.

When: June 7 to Aug. 30, 2026
Time: 9 a.m. and run until 11 a.m.
Where: Casa Loma – 1 Austin Terr.
Cost: $64+
