What a week it’s been, Toronto! The weekend is here, and there are tons of things to do in Toronto. With the weather feeling nicer than expected, we’re going to make the most out of this weekend and enjoy all the exciting events and fun experiences the city has to offer. To help you plan, we’ve rounded up the best things to do in Toronto. Get ready for a fun-filled weekend.

Lady Gaga is coming to Toronto, this is not a drill! The city is excited, and the prices definitely reflect that. If you’re willing to drop a pretty penny, tickets are still on sale!

When: Sept. 13, 2025
Time: 8 p.m.
Where: Scotiabank Arena
Cost: $665

Toronto’s best Lady Gaga impersonators will take over Earls on King St. W. for a drag brunch performance. Tickets are $30, and you get a complimentary martini when you arrive. Arrive early as the show begins right at 3:15 p.m.

Expect Toronto’s own Baby Bel Bel / Ivory Towers with special guest performances by Paris Matik, Destiny, BOA, and Jay Jay Kings.

Summer isn’t over just yet! Her Market Summer Series is still on at The Well. Head on over to The Court every Saturday until Sept. 30 and support local.

Think mariachi bands, dancers and the irresistible smell of tacos sizzling on the grill. Now picture it all happening in the middle of downtown Toronto. That’s the kind of energy the Mexican Day Toronto Festival is bringing to the city this year.

Mark your calendars for Sept. 13 and 14 because Nathan Phillips Square will once again transform into the largest Mexican fiesta in Canada, marking 31 years.

The Toronto International Film Festival is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, and needless to say, it’s going to be big.

The streets will be filled with people hoping to get a peek at their favourite celebrities, those heading to fantastic films, and everyone just enjoying the outdoor festivities. The 10-day festival will definitely pack a punch.

When: Until Sept. 14, 2025

If you’re a book lover on a budget, there’s one place in the city where your dollar goes a very long way, and we mean literally as far as your tote bag can carry. The best value for buying books isn’t tucked away in a trendy shop or found online, it’s at the Toronto Library’s very own BOOKEnds stores.

There are two locations in the city, BOOKEnds North and South, where shelves are brimming with hidden gems, from classic novels to withdrawn library faves. Even a few donated treasures are waiting for a new home.

When: Wednesdays to Saturdays,
Time: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Fridays until 6 p.m.

Free to attend on Sundays, the Bata Shoe Museum displays over a thousand shoes and related artifacts and sharing the fascinating history behind them.

Secure your tickets ahead of time or at the door.

Time: Noon to 5 p.m
Where: 327 Bloor St. W.

This exhibition features over 200 authentic artifacts recovered from the wreck of the Titanic, room recreations, and even virtual reality rooms.

If you can’t visit it in Toronto this weekend, the exhibit will be around until the end of September.

When: Open until September 2025
Where: YZD – 30 Hanover Rd.
Cost: $30+ per ticket
