Another month has come and gone, but sunny season fun has just begun! From cultural and street festivals to pancake breakfasts and Father’s Day fun, the city is about to come to life. Not sure what to do this time around? Here are 11 things to do this June in Calgary!

It’s back, Calgary! Celebrating local businesses, live music, and food trucks, the 2025 Lilac Festival has returned and will be bigger and better than ever.

When: June 1 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Where: 4th Street SW from 12th Avenue to Elbow Drive and 17th Avenue SW from 2nd Street to 5th Street
Cost: Free

Looking to take a vacation this June? The Delta Grand Resort in Kelowna will feature a ton of unforgettable programming for all ages. From a whimsical brunch and magic show to a Christmas in July celebration, there’s plenty to experience all year long.

When: Programming all year long
Where: 1310 Water Street, Kelowna, BC
Cost: $30+

Love food, drinks, music, and art? This month, enjoy exciting performances and delicious eats at the Calgary Ukrainian Festival. Tickets are only $5, so work up an appetite and come with a friend or the whole family.

When: June 7 and 8, 2025
Where: 240 90th Ave. SE, Calgary
Cost: $5

We can’t wait for the 2025 Stampede; luckily, it won’t be long until we can hit the midway. Until then, celebrate the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth with pancakes, fun, sun, and the Calgary Stampede Community Roundup, a free pancake breakfast held at the 7 Chiefs Sportsplex and Chief Jim Starlight Centre.

When: June 7 from 9 a.m. to noon

This month, vendors from all over the city will hit the streets of Inglewood for their big night market. With a beer garden, food trucks, live music, and so much more, you will not want to miss it.

This month, go beyond the rainbow for an adults-only pride event. Spark After Dark returns and will feature drag performances, a market, specialty cocktails, dancing, and experiments.

When:  June 13 from 6 p.m. to midnight

Don’t wait until October to enjoy a night of spooks, frights, and fun! This June, scary movie lovers will be encouraged to check out Horror Con – the largest gathering of Horror Fans in Canada. Tickets are on sale now.

This Father’s Day, treat your dad to a tasty meal at the Calgary Zoo and make a whole day of it! With a dessert spread and cuddly creatures all before noon, you can’t go wrong.

Stunning decorations, incredible food, and a whimsical tournament. This June, Calgarians are encouraged to dress up and enjoy a glass of sparkling wine with their friends, family, or special someone at the Rosé and Croquet garden party.
