We’re well into Fall, and as the morning air starts to get chillier and chillier, we’ve been on the hunt for things to do around Calgary that will warm you up and keep you entertained all night long.

With the last weekend of the Calgary International Film Festival and plenty of other exciting attractions going on around town, there’s plenty to do. Whether you’re in the mood for a crystal fair, want to explore some of East Village’s dark history or are looking to catch Canadian legend Bryan Adams live in concert, we’ve got your to-do list covered this Sept. 26 to 28 in Calgary.

The 26th year of CIFF will offer over 200 feature films and shorts from Canada and beyond, with organizers describing it as “one of the strongest lineups in festival history.”

The town of High River will welcome more than 20 highly skilled balloon pilots from Canada, the U.S., and Europe at this annual host air balloon festival.

Night Light will illuminate Calgary’s downtown core with jaw-dropping art installations at unique sites in Victoria Park.

Step into the shadows of one of Calgary’s older neighbourhoods on this chilling walking tour through the East Village.

Bryan Adams is a Canadian music legend. His new touring album, Roll With The Punches, will bring him to Calgary for one night only.

Get your Scooby Gang together and prepare for an evening of exploring, sleuthing, and puzzle-solving in Calgary’s spooky Central Library.

Celebrate Oktoberfest — Calgary style! This harvest celebration will bring European tradition together with craft beer, wines, spirits and full Lederhosen flair.

Thirty-five vendors, including some of Canada’s top mediums, psychics, astrologists, clairvoyants, and healers, will come together for this ethereal fair, which will also offer crystals and handmade jewelry.

Get ready to jam — the final jam, that is! Free Wall YYC is heating things up one last time at The Confluence with hip-hop performances and a drop-in graffiti jam.

The Festival of Animated Objects, the Canadian Academy of Mask and Puppetry, and Canmore Cave Tours will present an “immersive opera experience” in an underground Canmore cave, featuring choral music by Cassandra J. Dueck.
