We’ve officially passed mid-October, and that means cozy season is in full swing. If you love this time of year as much as I do, you’re probably trying to fill your calendar up to make the most of it. Have no fear, that’s why I’m here. Here are 11 of the best things to do this weekend in Toronto.

Can you think of a better way to get ready for Halloween? I can’t.

There are two shows, on Friday and Saturday night. Pick one and get ready for the nostalgia to flood in.

When: Friday, Oct. 17 and Saturday, Oct. 18
Time: 7:30 p.m.
Where: Meridian Hall – 1 Front St. E.
Cost: $57+ per ticket

The NBA preseason is underway. The Raptors are at home Friday, hosting the Brooklyn Nets.

When: Friday, Oct. 17
Time: 7 p.m.
Where: Scotiabank Arena – 40 Bay St.
Cost: $43.38+ per ticket

The Toronto Zoo is transforming into a Halloween wonderland on Saturday and Sunday.

When: Saturday, Oct. 18 and Sunday, Oct. 19
Time: 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Where: Toronto Zoo – 2000 Meadowvale Rd.
Cost: $37+ per ticket

Bonsai enthusiast? Toronto Botanical Garden is holding this annual event, a day filled with bonsai trees, expert demonstrations, and “unique shopping opportunities.”

When: Saturday, Oct. 18 and Sunday, Oct. 19
Time: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Toronto Botanical Garden – 777 Lawrence Ave. E.
Cost: $11.98 per ticket

According to Parkdale Hall, this “handmade marketplace/art show is for all things different, independent and Canadian-made. An extravaganza of unusual, whimsical, dark, freaky, and of course bizarre arts, crafts, fashions, and more.”

When: Saturday, Oct. 18
Time: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Where: Parkdale Hall – 1605 Queen St. W.
Cost: Free admission

Group sauna sessions, cold plunges, breathwork, yoga, red light therapy, and more await at Toronto’s first sauna fest, happening on Saturday.

When: Saturday, Oct. 18
Time: 1 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Where: Evergreen Brick Works — 550 Bayview Ave.
Cost: $24.99+ per ticket

Toronto FC is at home on Saturday evening, and tickets are still up for grabs.

When: Saturday, Oct. 18
Time: 6 p.m.
Where: BMO Field – 170 Princes’ Blvd.
Cost: $44+ per ticket

More sports! The Buds take on Seattle at Scotiabank Arena.

When: Saturday, Oct. 18
Time: 7 p.m.
Where: Scotiabank Arena – 40 Bay St.
Cost: $130+ per ticket

If you’re not participating, go out and cheer on the runners at this year’s TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon.

When: Sunday, Oct. 19
Time: Starts at 8 a.m.
Where: Course details 
Cost: Free

This market at Steamwhistle Brewing will have over 30 vendors selling local food, crafts, and drinks.

When: Sunday, Oct. 19
Time: 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Where: Steam Whistle Event Space – 255 Bremner Blvd.
Cost: Free admission

Icelandic singer Laufey will be performing at Scotiabank Arena for two nights, including Sunday.

When: Sunday, Oct. 19
Time: 7:30 p.m.
Where: Scotiabank Arena – 40 Bay St.
Cost: $122+ per ticket
