Jung Hae In and Ha Young have now been confirmed to lead Netflix’s upcoming romantic-comedy K-drama, Lovestuck. Filming is expected to begin in 2025 and be released in 2026. Here’s everything we know so far.

Lovestuck (Formerly titled This Sucky Love) is an upcoming South Korean Netflix Original romantic-comedy series directed by Kim Jang Han (My Demon) and written by Mo Ji Hye (You Raise Me Up).

What is the plot of Lovestuck?

A new and more detailed synopsis has been released for Lovestuck:

Only a simplified synopsis has been revealed for Lovestuck:

“The story follows Go Eun-sae, a brilliant prosecutor who wakes up one day with amnesia. She meets Jang Tae-ha, a suspicious man who insists he’s her boyfriend. Their unexpected living arrangement in a countryside village filled with traditional taffy shops kicks off a quirky, sweet, and irresistibly sticky love story.”

Who are the cast members of Lovestuck?

Only Jung Hae In and Ha Young have been confirmed for the lead roles.

Jung Hae In has starred in a handful of Netflix titles, including lead roles in Love Next Door, both seasons of DP, and Something in the Rain. He also held a supporting role in Prison Playbook. He plays the role of Jang Tae Ha.

The character has been described:

“A former youth boxing champion who turned to the gang life, but now seeks redemption as a small-town boxing coach. On his final mission for the gang, he unexpectedly crosses paths with Eun-sae, his long-lost first love, who no longer remembers him. To protect her, he spins a lie that could change both their lives.”
