Frontmezzjunkies reports: The Nominations for the 2025 Dorian Theater Awards Were Announced
Celebrating “both mainstream achievements and works that reflect LGBTQ+ themes and perspectives—in the spirit of GALECA’s longer-established film and television honors,” the nominations for the third annual Dorian Theater Awards were announced. Death Becomes Her leads with seven nominations, followed closely by John Proctor is the Villain, Purpose, Sunset Blvd, each with six. The awards, chosen by the members of the theater wing of GALECA: The Society of LGBTQ Entertainment Critics, will announce the winners on June 2. Some of the 17 categories, as you’ll see below, are unique, including the Broadway Showstopper Award.
