By now, even those who aren’t Aldi superfans (like me) have started to realize that this little discount grocery store has so much more to offer than many have ever imagined.
Aldi is your one-stop shop for the best prices on produce, fresh meat and pantry staples. Charcuterie boards got a major upgrade when more people discovered Aldi’s amazing cheese section. The store is also known for the monthly specialty and seasonal items in their Aldi Finds aisles that regularly go viral on social media.
We’ve shown you how to save money on lunch box meals and college dorm room essentials at Aldi, shared their best chocolate bars and even helped you to plan holiday meals with all Aldi groceries. So it was only a matter of time until we went shopping for snacks and shared the best of the best.
Read on for the 23 best Aldi snacks, based on my years of shopping at Aldi. These are the things my family and I have loved and bought again and again. The list includes a little something for everyone: salty, sweet, treats for the kids, easy things for on-the-go snacking and so much more!

What Day Should I Shop at Aldi?
Like other supermarkets, there is one day of the week that will yield the best results for any Aldi shopper—Wednesday.
What makes Wednesday the shopping sweet spot? Not only is that when their new weekly ad begins with special prices on everyday items (including the amazing chicken sales you’ve heard so much about) but it’s also when the monthly Aldi Finds are released every week.
Now you know why there tends to be a line at the door when you drive by at nine o’clock Wednesday morning!

What Kinds of Snacks Can I Buy at Aldi?
I think the easier question would be “Is there any kind of snack I can’t buy at Aldi?” The answer would be shorter! Truthfully, I can’t think of anything my family loves to munch on that I can’t find at Aldi.
If you’re a new Aldi shopper, I do have a word of warning, though. Don’t expect to find a lot of name-brand products. Aldi is known for their in-house product lines, which is one way they keep their prices so low. The secret is they taste just as good as their more expensive counterparts, and your family probably won’t notice the switch.
So if you are looking for favorite snacks from the big name brands, try their Aldi brand cousin instead! I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

The 23 Best Snacks to Buy at Aldi
1. Southern Grove Deluxe Whole Cashews
Krista Marshall
My husband’s grandpa always had a can of mixed nuts next to his recliner for snacking. You can keep the peanuts, hazelnuts, almonds and walnuts. I’m just going to pick the cashews out anyway, so why not skip the work? This huge container is filled with big, rich, creamy whole cashews with a hint of sea salt. For me, snacking doesn’t get any better than this.

2. Simply Nature Roasted Seaweed Snacks
Krista Marshall
Roasted seaweed has an almost nutty flavor, and while I enjoy it for a healthier snack option, guess who puts this in my cart most often? My little guy! Yep, the eight-year-old can’t get enough, and these individual packs make it easy for travel too. Pro Tip: Crumble some on your next bowl of ramen or pho. They’re also a great addition to tuna salad.
3. Mama Cozzi’s Bagel Pizzas
Krista Marshall
Yes, these are a terrific after-school or movie night snack, but they also make a great quick weekend lunch, game day food, or even busy weeknight supper (just add a green salad on the side!). My new favorite way to cook them is in the air fryer because the crust gets nice and crispy without scorching!
4. Southern Grove Cheddar Crunch Trail Mix
Krista Marshall
Over the years, I’ve been a fan of various Aldi trail mixes. The one with the M&M’s was my first indulgence, and every time they come out with a new flavor, I have to try it. This cheddar version is my current favorite. The flavor combo of cheese with sweet pumpkin seeds and pecans is the perfect bite, and the resealable bag means I can keep it in my desk drawer for an afternoon pick-me-up.
5. Clancy’s Hint of Lime Tortilla Chips
Krista Marshall
Clancy’s is Aldi’s in-house chip brand and they never disappoint. These have an extra zesty flavor thanks to a touch of lime that mixes with your favorite salsa perfectly. Eat them straight from the bag or use them for your next batch of sheet pan nachos for a splash of bright citrus flavor that cuts through the richness of toppings so well.

6. Specially Selected Mild Roasted Verde Salsa
Krista Marshall
Did you think we’d grab a bag of tortilla chips and not include salsa too? No way! While Aldi has a wide selection of different ones, this green salsa is currently a favorite. Made with tomatillos, roasted jalapenos and tomatoes, it is a tasty twist on a traditional red salsa. Pro tip: This salsa is the perfect pairing for the hint of lime chips.
7. Appetitos Mac & Cheese Bites
Krista Marshall
Appetitos has some of the best frozen appetizers in the game. Their mozzarella sticks and stuffed jalapeño poppers have been staples any time we host a party for years, but these new mac and cheese bites our current favorite. Pop them in the air fryer and you’ve got your next movie night treat.
8. Savoritz Extra Cheddar Turtle Crackers
Krista Marshall
I would love to say “here’s one for the kiddos” but let’s be honest, adults love cheese crackers shaped like sea creatures too! Made with real cheese, these adorable turtles have an amazing cheddar flavor, plus this big box is easier on any budget-conscious parent’s wallet!
9. Simms Original Smoked Snack Sticks
Krista Marshall
Beef jerky fans can’t always be walking around with a big bag of it in their purse or bag. But these small, individually wrapped meat sticks are a different story! My little guy even takes them in his bookbag for a quick school snack. More than two dozen sticks for less than three dollars means I can stock up and never run out! With their array of jerky and summer sausage options, this is one Aldi aisle you don’t want to skip.
10. Simply Nature Sweet Potato Chips
Krista Marshall
Simply Nature Sweet Potato Chips are a crunchy, satisfying way to mix up your potato chip options. They’re low in sodium and made with no preservatives, if you’re looking for a chip that’s a little on the lighter side. If you love a salty-sweet snack, try the cinnamon sugar version of these chips.

11. Savoritz Fig & Black Sesame Crisps
Krista Marshall
Put your everyday crackers back in the pantry, because these fig and black sesame crisps are the bougie alternative you never knew you needed. Top with a layer of fig spread (bonus points if you can find an orange-infused one) and a thin slice of prosciutto for a grown-up snack. They’re also a super easy way to instantly upgrade your next charcuterie board or cheese platter.
12. Lunch Buddies Fruit Snacks
Krista Marshall
Gummy candies are my favorite, but these give the same texture with a little less sugar. Made with real fruit juice and no artificial colors, they’re also gluten, fat, and peanut-free, making them great for school lunches and classroom parties, too!
13. Park Street Deli Street Corn Dip
Krista Marshall
If you haven’t seen this Street Corn Dip flooding your social media feed, you might be living under a rock. Since this first debuted at my Aldi last year, I have only found it a few times because it is always sold out! The mayonnaise and sour cream-based dip with roasted corn, cilantro, a hint of spice from red chili and three cheeses is good enough to eat with a spoon, but go ahead and grab some corn, tortilla or pita chips to pair with it just in case.
14. Benton’s Caramel Coconut Fudge Cookies
Krista Marshall
Coconut, fudge and caramel—if this flavor combo sounds familiar, it might be Girl Scout Cookie season! Yep, these are a dupe for one of their most popular cookies, and good luck eating just one. While these are available for a limited time only, they are something I can never resist. They freeze very well, so I’d suggest stocking up.
15. Clancy’s Cheese Curls
Krista Marshall
Yes, they taste almost identical to their pricier name-brand counterpart. Yes, you will still end up with the dreaded orange fingers when you eat them. And yes, you can probably finish over half the bag before you realize it. (Or maybe that’s just me?)

16. Clancy’s Movie Theater Popcorn
Krista Marshall
Are you having more movie nights at home instead of at the theater? That doesn’t mean you have to give up the experience of buttery popcorn during the show! This pre-popped might not be warm, but it gives you the same vibes for way less money. If you’re looking to go a little lighter, Clancy’s makes a sea salt version too!

17. Choceur Milk Chocolate Covered English Toffee Almonds
Krista Marshall
If you don’t know about Aldi’s chocolate section, let’s start there. Imported German and Belgian chocolates aren’t something you might expect to find at the discount grocery store, but that’s exactly what you get with their in-house brands Choceur and Moser Roth. These chocolate-covered toffee almonds are a newer item and I am sold! I hope they become a permanent product, but either way, if you reach for chocolate when snack time hits, Aldi is the place to shop!
18. Clancy’s Ranch Veggie Straws
Krista Marshall
Trying to pack something in the kids’ lunch other than chips? Have you tried veggie straws, but they aren’t going for them? The genius folks at Clancy’s read your mind and added ranch seasoning to their veggie straws! I’m convinced you could add ranch to a shoe tongue and kids would devour it! Don’t worry, they still have the regular ones too, so grab a bag for yourself too!
19. Clancy’s Peanut Butter Filled Pretzels
Krista Marshall
Peanut butter-filled pretzels are a weakness of mine, and Clancy’s version are some of the best in the game. They’re crunchy on the outside, creamy on the inside and more budget-friendly than many others. At less than five bucks per bag, you might want to grab two because they tend to disappear quickly.
20. Park Street Deli Pretzel Bites with Mustard Dip
Krista Marshall
Nobody in my house can resist a warm, chewy soft pretzel, covered in salt and dripping with tangy mustard dip. Pop these in the microwave for a quick snack while you stream your favorite show. If you’re a pretzel + cheese person, they have that too!

21. Clancy’s Stackerz
Krista Marshall
I don’t know what the suggested serving size is on these dupes, but it should read “one canister” because once you start you won’t be able to stop! Original, cheddar cheese, sour cream and onion all taste as close to the real thing as you will find. And you can’t beat the price!
22. Park Street Deli Snack Pack Cream Cheese Dip with Pretzels
Krista Marshall
The perfect on-the-go snack, these little pretzel packs come with soft cream cheese for dipping, in strawberry, jalapeño or my favorite, garden vegetable. Throw one in your purse, gym bag or backpack for a quick pick-me-up.
23. Clancy’s Everything Pretzel Slims
Krista Marshall
Anything with everything seasoning isn’t going to last long around me, or even my little guy, so these baked snacks are on the top of our favorites list. The perfect mix of an extra crunchy pretzel, thin like a chip but baked instead of fried, go ahead an eat a few extra!
