Walker & Dunlop, Inc. has arranged $371.5 million in financing for the development of The Nashville EDITION Hotel & Residences in Nashville’s Gulch neighborhood.
Walker & Dunlop has arranged $371,500,000 in financing to support the development of The Nashville EDITION Hotel & Residences, planned for the Gulch neighborhood of Nashville. The financing was arranged in partnership with the Walker & Dunlop Hospitality Team on behalf of Tidal Real Estate Partners. Madison Realty Capital and KSL Capital Partners provided the capital.
The Nashville EDITION is planned as a 28-story hotel and residential tower with 261 hotel rooms and 84 residences. The development will include chef-led restaurant and bar concepts, multiple floors of amenity programming, and separate lobbies and gyms for hotel guests and residents. Shared amenities will include a spa, golf simulator, 8,300 square feet of ballroom and pre-function space, conference rooms, and a rooftop pool and bar with cabanas and views of downtown Nashville.
The project is located at 11th Avenue North and Grundy Street, near shops, restaurants, bars, and cultural landmarks in the Gulch neighborhood.
The financing transaction was arranged by Keith Kurland, Aaron Appel, Jonathan Schwartz, Adam Schwartz, Dustin Stolly, Ari Hirt, and Michael Ianno of Walker & Dunlop’s Capital Markets team, along with Jay Morrow, Carter Gradwell, and Jack Hughes of the Hospitality team.
The Nashville metropolitan statistical area is home to more than 2.1 million people and over 40,000 businesses.
Tidal Real Estate Partners has previously developed projects in the Gulch, including the 1111 Church multifamily rental community and an upcoming dual-branded development featuring The Marriott Vacation Club and Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy.
