HVS Brokerage & Advisory has completed the sale of the 47-key former Econo Lodge Junction, located at 111 Martinez Street, Junction, Texas 76849.
The 47-key former Econo Lodge Junction, built in 1990, has been sold to Aman Patel of Texas City, Texas. The seller was VSBA – REO Holdings LLC, based in Dallas, Texas. HVS Brokerage & Advisory managed the transaction.
The property offers visibility and access from Interstate 10 and features 4 onsite electric vehicle charging stations, which generate additional revenue. Junction serves as a retail and tourism hub for visitors to South Llano River State Park.
The area sees seasonal tourism peaks from March through October, driven by river recreation, hunting and wildlife seasons, and annual events. Hunting tourism, especially from deer hunters, significantly contributes to lodging demand. Corporate and commercial demand is also present, supported by regional oil and gas activity, agriculture and ranching businesses, and transportation corridors.
The hotel was closed at the time of sale and required significant capital investment. The sale process generated ten offers within 29 days, and the selected buyer closed the transaction in under 30 days.
