Over four decades since the inception of his career, country music iconRandy Travis is back on the charts.
It’s been more than 40 years since Travis dropped his first single, but 23 studio albums and 16 No. 1s later, he’s back on the current Billboard charts.
According to new chart standings dated the week of July 11, Travis’ 2009 compilation album, I Told You So: The Ultimate Hits Of Randy Travis, re-entered Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart at No. 50, bringing its total number of weeks spent on the chart to 113.
The record previously peaked on the same chart just weeks after its release, when it debuted at No. 3 in April 2009.

It also features two of Travis’ iconic duets: “We’re Strangers Again” with Tammy Wynette and “A Few Ole Country Boys” with George Jones, as well as Travis’ first-ever No. 1 hit, “On the Other Hand,” which reached the top of the Hot Country Songs chart in 1986 and became the first of Travis’ 16 songs to do so.
