7 charming flower farms near Toronto where you can pick your own bouquet this summer, Canada Reviews

Beach escapes and patio crawls are great, but picking your own flowers might be one of the most charming ways to spend a summer day. And you don’t have to travel too far from Toronto to wander through rows of dahlias, sunflowers, lavender and other colourful blooms before heading home with a pretty bouquet you made yourself!

Here are seven pick-your-own flower farms and flower stands near Toronto to visit this summer.

Robintide Farms

 Set aside lots of time (at least an hour or two) to enjoy Robintide Farms! The farm is operated by French Blooms and grows more than 50 varieties of flowers across its two-acre field, with popular blooms like dahlias, cosmos, zinnias, sunflowers, strawflowers, celosia, scabiosa and statice.

The 2026 pick-your-own season runs Thursday through Sunday, from mid-July to mid-October. For flower cutting, admission is $30 per person and includes a one-litre Mason jar that you can fill to the max with a mix of gorgeous blooms. The farm lends out buckets and clippers to make picking easier, and, bonus, if you need a little extra help with your floral game, there are make-your-own arrangement workshops and dahlia-focused events. Just keep in mind that pets aren’t allowed!

Country Cut Flowers

 Country Cut Flowers is tucked away in the rolling hills of King Township, just outside Newmarket, making it the perfect spot for a little country escape. The farm runs ticketed cut-your-own flower experiences rather than casual drop-ins, so make sure to book ahead. For late summer, visitors can fill a one-litre Mason jar with colourful blooms like zinnias, dahlias, lisianthus, strawflower, statice, Japanese anemone, coneflowers, celosia and cosmos. The farm’s flower patches get fuller as the season goes on, with late August and September being especially good for big, lush bouquets! Just bring a pair of clean scissors or garden trimmers to cut your flowers. Cost: $50/person | children aged 10 and under: free.

Andrew’s Farm

 Andrew’s Farm offers in-season dahlia and sunflower picking from late July to mid-October, as well as family-friendly farm-day extras like wagon rides, a petting zoo and a playground. General admission is required to access the fields, and pick-your-own items cost extra, with flowers charged by bloom. The 2026 season runs from May 30 to November 1, and the farm is open daily from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You can buy admission when you arrive, but booking online can save you time and money! Cost: $15.50 +/adult | children aged 0-5: free.

Cold Springs Flower Farm

 Cold Springs Flower Farm is a small flower farm just north of Cobourg, and it’s a dreamy option if your perfect day trip involves country roads and locally grown blooms.

For 2026, the farm’s U-pick flower experiences take place on select evenings and weekends throughout August. You can walk the field and cut whatever catches your eye, as long as it fits in your cup! Snips are provided, although you can bring your own. If you don’t want to wait for a U-pick session, the farm also offers self-serve bouquets at its farm stand on Saturdays (they sell out fast!). There’s also an Instagram LIVE bouquet option on select Wednesdays at noon, where you can order a grower’s-choice bouquet and pick it up at the farm on Thursday.

Oh, and dogs are welcome on the property, but they need to stay leashed, and you’ll need to clean up after them. Tickets: $35/person (ticket sales open in July).

Windecker Woods Flower Farm

 Windecker Woods Flower Farm is open seven days a week from dawn until dusk, including holidays, and the cut-your-own season runs from late May to late October! The experience is simple: drive in, find the Flower Pavilion, grab some clippers and a basket, then wander the rows and cut whatever gorgeous flowers catch your eye. You can arrange your bouquet right at the farm, wrap it in paper and twine, or bring your own bucket with water if you have a bit of a drive home. The flowers change by month, with peonies and perennials starting the season, annuals arriving in July, and zinnias and dahlias taking centre stage in August and September. There are also picnic options from June to October, so you and your family can spread out on the grass or use table-and-chair areas (larger groups need to book ahead).

The cool part is pricing: it’s “pay for your pick.” Since everyone cuts a different amount, the farm asks that you look at the size of your bouquet and pay a fair price (although peonies are $3 per stem).

Purple Haven Lavender Farm

 Purple Haven Lavender Farm is a family‑owned agritourism destination that’s just perfect if you want your flower-picking day to come with a side of lavender! The farm offers a cut-your-own flower experience from late June to October, with lavender available in early summer, sunflowers in mid-summer, and dahlias and zinnias blooming into fall, so you can create your own bouquet from seasonal blooms. The farm supplies a vessel and shears, but you’re more than welcome to bring snips or scissors since supplies are limited!

After picking, stop by the farm store for lavender products, snacks and tasty farm-made lavender ice cream. Purple Haven also offers bookable experiences like high tea, private farm dinners and picnic passes. There’s even a “Date Night in the Lavender” experience (July 10, 2026) where you and your partner can enjoy a luxurious picnic surrounded by live music, food and gorgeous blooms! Cost: The cut-your-own experience costs $20 per vessel, with no separate farm entry fee.

Black Creek Flower Farm

 Black Creek Flower Farm is a bit more of a drive compared to the other farms on our list, but it makes for the most scenic flower-farm day trip near Stratford. The family-run farm has a retail store, self-serve stand and U-pick flower field (so many ways to get your bloom fix).

The U-pick garden opens in late June or early July, depending on the weather, with an ever-rotating mix of blooms, including sunflowers, zinnias, cosmos, snapdragons, celosia, amaranth, gladiolus, dahlias and more!  Black Creek also hosts seasonal experiences and workshops, like sunset picks, farm tours, bouquet-making events and even Yoga in the Flowers experiences. Cost: Admission is free. U-pick flowers are priced by vase size: a small vase is $15, and a large vase is $20, with the vase and the flowers you cut to fill it included in the price.
