7 unique antique shops around Alberta where you’ll find your next treasure

6 July 20263 Mins Read

Antique shops are spread out across Alberta, and there are more than a few to find treasures in. Lucky for you, I’ve rounded up some of the best ones in the province.

Whether you find yourself in Calgary, Edmonton, or out and about in Innisfail, you’ll be able to stop and take a look at these antique finds. And, what better time to be exploring than the summer? Grab some friends, get a fun drink, and take a look at what these stores have to offer.

Home to over 120 vendors, this antique mall absolutely rules Edmonton. These two floors have an extensive amount of items that you can browse through and purchase.

When: Tuesday to Sunday
Time: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday; 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursdays; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday
Where: 10323 78th Ave. NW, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: Free

This is Calgary’s resident antique shop, made for people who are truly looking for that unique item or ware. There’s truly an endless number of pieces, all of which can be used for movies, theatre performances, weddings, or any of your special events.

When: Daily
Time: 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Where: 5746 Burleigh Cres. SE, Calgary, Alta.
Cost: Free

Just outside Edmonton sits One Man’s Treasure. This shop has the perfect blend of new, vintage, antique and re-imagined treasures, all at great prices. With new items being brought in every single day, you’re sure to find something you’ll fall in love with.

When: Daily
Time: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Monday to Saturday; Noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday
Where: 4912 50th Ave., Stony Plain, Alta
Cost: Free

This antique mall takes over 15,000 square feet in Airdrie, and it’s well worth the drive to visit. From vinyl records to delicate kitchen china, you’re going to stumble upon your next greatest find here, for sure.

When: Daily
Time: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Monday to Saturday; Noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday
Where: 325 Edmonton Tr. SE, Airdrie, Alta.
Cost: Free

This antique shop in Edmonton is one of my personal favourites. From location to its available wares, this is a top-tier store with some of the most unique items you can find in the city.

When: Daily
Time: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday; 1-0 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday and Friday; Noon to 6 p.m. on Sundays
Where: 10442 Whyte Ave. NW Bsmt, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: Free

Although it’s hidden in Innisfail, the treasures here are all on display, just for you. Holding 12 vendors, there’s a nice amount of antique and vintage furniture, collectables, and so much more to discover.

When: Monday to Saturday
Time: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: 5112 49th Ave., Innisfail, Alta.
Cost: Free

It’s been consistently voted Calgary’s top antique store ever since it opened in 2021: Ella Grace Marketplace. If you’re looking to scratch your thrifting itch, you’re going to love what this spot has to offer.

When: Daily
Time: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Where: 7271 12th St. SE, Calgary, Alta.
Cost: Free
