'80s Music Icons Delight Fans With 'Amazing' Announcement: 'Count Me In'

23 June 20252 Mins Read

Duran Duran just delivered the Halloween news that fans have been waiting for

The iconic British pop-rock band announced a “one-night-only exclusive Halloween” set in the UK for the very first time.

Per the social media post, the music icons are summoning “All Hallows’ Eve enthusiasts to show up, dress up, and celebrate in style,” for the Friday, October 31, 2025 show at Manchester’s Co-Op Live.

The comment section illuminated with excitement, as one noted, “Going to be Spooktacular ❤️🖤❤️” and another added, “There’s no Halloween party like a DD Halloween party 🖤🎃🖤This is going to be Durantacular 🧡.”

“Yay!!! Count me in!!! This is going to be Spooktacular ❤️🖤❤️” another declared.

Many fans recalled the band’s previous Halloween shows, calling them “amazing!🤩,” with another confirming the sentiment, “They were in NY last Halloween, what an amazing show! I will miss seeing them this Halloween! 🎃”

Someone else echoed, “Oooh… Manchester…. Fasten your seatbelts, you’re in for a great ride!!! I was at the NYC show and I still can’t believe how magical it was!!!!! 🔥”

What started as a one-night-only show in 2022 at the Wynn Theatre in Las Vegas has since become a highly anticipated annual event, later immortalized by the group’s 16th album, Danse Macabre.

The evening spans the band’s biggest hits and classics, along with some darkly reimagined rare tracks, and will mark the first Halloween event in the UK following the sold-out festivities in Madison Square Garden last fall.

Frontman and lead vocalist Simon Le Bon teased, per NME: “I’m so excited to be coming to Manchester for this special Halloween concert. In fact, I’m thrilled — and, frankly, a little terrified!”

Tickets will go on sale on Friday, June 27, at 10 am BST, with pre-sale options available starting this Wednesday. Get more info here.

Summer’s been busy for Le Bon, keyboardist Nick Rhodes, John Taylor and Roger Taylor as they’ve been performing shows across Europe, following a special appearance at the 75th annual Sanremo Music Festival, 40 years after the band’s debut there in 1985.
