'80s Rock Legend Fires Back at Mick Jagger With Bold After-Show Message

28 August 20252 Mins Read

“Bad to the Bone” rocker George Thorogood, 75, dished out an umprompted jab at Mick Jagger of The Rolling Stones after a Texas performance.

TMZ caught up to Thorogood after a recent performance in Houston and shared the video on their site. As the singer walked out of the venue, one fan could be heard on the video hollering, “You’re still rocking!” Another shouted, “I love the show, my man. Loved it.”

Thorogood then caught sight of the camera, turned toward it, and jabbed his finger toward it as he said, “You tell Mick Jagger to s*ck on that.”

With that, Thorogood pointed back at the venue, suggesting that his performance speaks for itself. Fans had plenty to say about the singer’s blunt statement.

On Facebook, one fan reacted to Thorogood’s jab by commenting, “We all knew he was bad to the bone bet mick got no satisfaction.”

Another Facebook user noted, “I like George, seems he forgot The Rolling Stones gave him one of his earliest opportunities by taking him out on tour.”

Someone else questioned, “Lol what’s going on here?”

“Those are fighting words hahahaha,” quipped another Facebook user.

As TMZ noted, there is no particular known beef between Thorogood and Jagger, 82. While it wasn’t clear why Thorogood wanted to throw out the jab at Jagger, he seemed quite pleased with the performance he had delivered that night at the House of Blues.

Thorogood is currently touring with dates scheduled into late September. Upcoming performances are slated to take place in a handful of venues along the East Coast, from Florida to New York.
