After a 16-year hiatus, the British alternative rock band Chapterhouse are heading back on the road for a North America tour. The announcement came via Instagram on Wednesday and longtime fans are ecstatic.

The news of the band’s North America tour follows their announcement as headliners at the Slideaway Music Festival in New York City, Chicago and Los Angeles. The North American trek will mark the first time the band has toured since 2010 and will celebrate the 35-year anniversary of their debut album Whirlpool—the album that launched the group into success and defined them as icons in the shogaze genre.

Chapterhouse’s short tour will travel to seven cities throughout the U.S. and Canada, commencing in Washington, DC on May 17. The tour will be supported by artists She’s Green and Asteroid No. 4 for designated dates, with each show featuring the entirety of Chapterhouse’s iconic debut album.
