'90s Rock Band's Iconic Album Reenters Music Charts Amid 30-Year Milestone

14 October 20252 Mins Read

Reunited and it feels so good.

Oasis has yet another accomplishment to celebrate after reentering the Billboard 200 chart this week. It currently sits at No. 144 on the coveted list.

And why not? After all, (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? is hitting its 30th anniversary this year, having dropped way back in 1995. In honor of the milestone, the Grammy-nominated band unveiled a deluxe reissue of the wildly successful album earlier this month.

On Sept. 24, the English rock band released “Morning Glory (Unplugged)” — a stripped-down version of the title track from their sophomore album, Billboard reported at the time. It appears on the 30th anniversary deluxe edition and was produced and mixed by Noel Gallagher as well as Callum Marinho from the original master recordings at Noel’s London studio, Lone Star Sound.

News of the Billboard 200 reentry and deluxe album reissue both come at a time when Liam Gallagher, Noel, 58, and the rest of the gang are already riding high off the success of their reunion tour — which recently landed in the U.S. to sell-out crowds.

Visually, the band employs a stunning video wall during their shows that runs nearly the entire width of the stadium field, as showcased at the Pasadena show on Sept. 7. Between 60,000 and 70,000 fans were estimated per night night to have turned out for Oasis’ two shows at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, with similar numbers reported the tour’s other stops.

Earlier this month, co-founding guitarist Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs revealed that he is stepping back from part of the band’s reunion tour as he continues treatment for prostate cancer.

“The good news is I’m responding really well to treatment, which meant I could be part of this incredible tour,” his Oct. 3 post on X reads in part. “Now, I am having to take a planned break for the next phase of my care, so I’ll be missing the gigs in Seoul, Tokyo, Melbourne and Sydney.”
