‘90s Supermodel, 59, is Nearly Unrecognizable in Rare Outing

17 June 20252 Mins Read

Cindy Crawford may have been one of the top supermodels of the ‘90s, but she’s proving she’s still runway-ready at 59.

Over the weekend, Crawford was photographed by Backgrid in New York City with her husband, Rande Gerber, as the two arrived at Joshua Kushner’s birthday party.

The model was spotted in wide-leg denim jeans and an oversized blouse, accessorized with a black Celine bag that effortlessly tied the look together.

Crawford’s night out is just the latest example of how gracefully she’s aging — something she credits in part to her long-standing dedication to skincare.

She’s been candid over the years about how important skincare has become to her, so much so that she launched her own beauty line, Meaningful Beauty, to help others achieve the same glow.

“When we first started talking about Meaningful Beauty I was 35 and now I’m 58,” she told Byrdie in 2024. “Maybe you start thinking about skincare in your thirties, but you need it in your forties.”

When asked about her go-to product, Crawford didn’t hesitate. “I love the Youth Activating Melon Serum. If I only had one step, it would be this serum. It’s so light and your skin just drinks it in.”

Skincare wasn’t always a priority for Crawford. She admitted that growing up, she didn’t know much about it — her mother didn’t wear makeup, and there were no YouTube tutorials to turn to.

“When I started modeling, sometimes you had to do your own glam on set. I would have to watch the other girls to learn,” she recalled.

It wasn’t until she met celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Jean-Louis Sebagh at age 28 that her skincare journey really began. “That is really what flipped the switch for me,” Crawford said.

After a mesotherapy session with him, which included a special melon extract, she was convinced. That ingredient later became a foundation of her Meaningful Beauty brand.

It’s safe to say she may be on to something — over the years, Crawford has landed some of the most iconic gigs in modeling.

She starred in George Michael’s “Freedom! ‘90” video, appeared in what many consider the greatest Pepsi ad of all time and has walked in over 500 runway shows for fashion powerhouses like Chanel, Christian Dior, Versace and countless others.

With decades of unforgettable moments behind her, Crawford proves that self-care is the real secret to looking ageless.
