Start humming those Christmas songs! The holiday season is just around the corner and this Toronto neighbourhood is already preparing for the festivities.
Bloor-Yorkville is bringing back its Holiday Magic event on November 23, with Christmas-themed activations continuing until December 31, 2024.
The Official Lighting Ceremony will take place at 5 p.m. on November 23 and will feature a free outdoor concert hosted by media personality Morgan Hoffman.
You can enjoy live performances from Rêve as well as American Idol finalist Nicolina.
“Bloor-Yorkville is excited to announce the return of Holiday Magic this festive season, an annual tradition of lights and music the local community looks forward to each year,” Briar de Lange, Executive Director of the Bloor-Yorkville BIA said in a press release.
You can soak up sights of a sparkling Christmas tree, festive lights and more throughout the season, along with festive green and red-lit Urban Campfire Benches on Bloor Street.
On select dates, strolling carollers dressed in Victorian-era costumes will wander through the streets, filling the neighbourhood with Yuletide cheer.
Many of the stores and restaurants will feature twinkling windows and festive offerings, including Eataly, where you can find a drool-worthy panettoni collection.
You can also enjoy Fleurs de Villes NOËL from December 4 to 8. The flower-filled event features a Christmas-themed floral trail throughout Bloor-Yorkville.
With drool-worthy restaurants, holiday shopping opportunities, glittering decor and more, this neighbourhood is brimming with Christmas cheer.
