New Hilton Hotel Launches as Part of Woking’s Regeneration Project

The Hilton Woking Hotel, featuring 189 rooms in Victoria Square, has officially opened. The hotel is part of Woking’s ongoing regeneration project and is within walking distance of 150 shops, restaurants, and entertainment facilities.

The hotel offers rooms, including 14 suites and executive rooms, with panoramic views of Woking and the Surrey countryside. Guests have access to a 24/7 fitness centre, and the Executive Lounge on the 22nd floor.

On the 22nd floor, the LOFT Sky Bar offers a Pan-Asian menu and cocktails, while the OXBO restaurant on the 21st floor serves British cuisine with local produce. The GLOW Lounge provides a casual setting for gatherings.

The hotel is conveniently located near major family attractions such as Mercedes-Benz World, Thorpe Park, and LEGOLAND Windsor. It is also less than 20 miles from 20 of the top 100 golf courses in England.

Hilton Woking is easily accessible, with Woking Station within walking distance, providing direct train links to Central London. All terminals at London Heathrow Airport are within 45 minutes by car, and London Gatwick Airport is about an hour’s drive away.

The hotel boasts extensive event facilities, including Surrey’s largest hotel ballroom, 11 meeting rooms, and two private dining spaces, all with premium audio-visual technology. The hotel is part of Hilton’s ‘Meet with Purpose’ programme, which aims to reduce the environmental impact of meetings and contribute positively to the local community.

The design of the Hilton Woking reflects Woking’s history and growth. Local materials were sourced for the build, and local artists were commissioned for artwork. The hotel’s signage reflects Woking’s transformation from a rural village to a key transport hub.

As part of its commitment to the local community, the hotel has created 60 jobs and works with local suppliers. The hotel’s location is part of the Victoria Square development, which includes residential and retail spaces.
