The second expansion for Star Wars: Unlimited, titled Twilight of the Republic, is currently available to purchase online. Following a similar format to the previous expansion, Shadows of the Galaxy, Twilight of the Republic is available as either as a two-player Starter Kit, or Booster Packs. We’ve managed to track down some online retailers where you can reserve the new set, but you might consider heading to your local games store if you’re trying to secure these cards on launch day.
Twilight of the Republic introduces over 250 new cards, token units, and two new keywords intended to shake up existing gameplay. Among the expanded catalog of vehicles and locations, characters like General Grievous, Ahsoka Tano, Padmé Amidala, Commander Cody, and Ki-Adi-Mundi will be making their first appearance in Star Wars: Unlimited alongside other key players from Episode Two. We’ve broken down the two options you have for buying into the new expansion.
The Two-player Starter Kit for Twilight of the Republic is specifically tailored to introduce new players to the world of Star Wars: Unlimited. Each Starter Kit contains a pair of pre-constructed 50-card decks that are ready to play out of the box, along with ten additional cards that can’t be found in Booster Packs. The Two-player Starter Kit is currently available to purchase from Amazon, or Asmodee for $34.99, while Miniature Market has discounted the introductory product to $27.99.
Twilight of the Republic Booster Packs are the only way to expand your collection outside of the introductory cards. Each pack features 16 cards, including nine commons, three uncommons, a leader card, a base token card, and a single rare or legendary card in addition to one foil card. Amazon, and Asmodee currently have Booster Boxes available for $119.76, but you can also find them for $108.99 at Miniature Market.
