The Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the signing of its 100th Ginger Hotel, an 85-key property located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. This announcement marks a significant milestone in the growth of the Ginger brand, which offers a blend of work and leisure amenities in modern, stylish spaces.
Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director and CEO of IHCL, expressed his enthusiasm for the expansion. He noted that the Ginger brand’s unique positioning had enabled it to achieve this growth milestone. He added that the mid-scale segment in India is ripe for expansion due to India’s robust GDP growth and rising consumer aspirations. The new hotel will cater to diverse categories and destinations, from metropolitan areas, state capitals, and commercial centers to pilgrimage sites and leisure hotspots. IHCL has partnered with Lekhraj Builders for this project.
The Ginger Lucknow Hotel is situated on Capt. Aditya Mishra Marg is in the notable Indira Nagar area. The hotel offers comfort and functionality, featuring amenities like all-day dining at Ginger’s signature restaurant Qmin, a fully equipped fitness center, and high-end meeting facilities for business and leisure travelers.
Rajat Garg, Chairman of Lekhraj Builders, expressed his excitement about collaborating with IHCL. He said the Ginger Hotel would cater to Lucknow’s growing business potential.
