Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Shebandowan Holdings, S.A. plan to open Hotel La Compañía del Valle in Valle de Anton, Panama, in early 2025. This hotel, located about 50 miles west of its sister property, Hotel La Compañía in Casco Antiguo, will be part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt portfolio.
Hotel La Compañía del Valle will provide its guests with an art and wellness experience in the midst of Panama’s central biodiversity, mountains, and lush landscape. The hotel will feature a unique sculpture park with art pieces scattered around the corridors and public areas and will offer natural healing spa treatments and experiences.
The hotel is in El Valle de Anton, a mountain town in an extinct volcanic crater approximately 2,000 ft. above sea level. The hotel will offer concierge services, including transportation options, making it a convenient day trip option.
The hotel’s art and wellness house will display 200 unique sculptures symbolizing the five elements—fire, water, earth, metal, and wood. The Elysium Spa will offer an 18,000 sq.ft. spa with Roman baths, chocolate and wine therapy, a saltwater pool and a sundeck. The hotel will also offer hiking tours, e-bikes, horseback riding, and tennis.
Hotel La Compañía del Valle will offer 70 spacious rooms and suites spread across four wings with balconies and terraces overlooking the mountains, garden courtyard or surrounding spaces. The hotel will also offer three unique food and beverage concepts, three indoor meeting spaces, and a Plaza Auditorium for events.
The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand caters to travelers seeking an elevated yet unscripted experience. Hotel La Compañía del Valle is expected to join 39 hotels within The Unbound Collection by Hyatt portfolio globally and be part of La Compañía Hotels & Resorts, a luxury hospitality portfolio.
