IHCL Announces New Ginger Hotel in Raipur
The Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has revealed plans for a new Ginger hotel in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The hotel is expected to offer a high-quality experience to its guests, adhering to the brand’s lean luxe philosophy.
According to Suma Venkatesh, IHCL’s Executive Vice President of Real Estate & Development, this new venture aligns with the company’s strategy to establish a presence in capital cities and major business hubs across India. The project will be carried out in collaboration with Mr. Devendra Singh Sibbal and Mr. Kabir Sibbal of the Utsav Group.
The Ginger Raipur Hotel, a 120-room property, will be part of a mixed-use development on the Mumbai-Kolkata National Highway (GE Road). The hotel will feature Ginger’s all-day diner and bar, Qmin, a modern fitness center, and flexible meeting areas.
The Utsav Group directors have expressed their enthusiasm about the partnership with IHCL. They look forward to introducing Ginger Hotels’ lean luxe concept in Raipur.
Raipur, the capital city of Chhattisgarh, has become a significant business hub in Central India thanks to its strong industrial sector. The city boasts various spiritual and historical landmarks like the renowned Mata Kaushalya Temple and the Swami Vivekanand Sarovar.
The Utsav Group, managed by Mr. Devendra Singh Sibbal and Mr. Kabir Sibbal, deals with the dealership for Hero MotoCorp Ltd., and offers sales and service of Hero two-wheelers across Raipur and Durg. The Group also has a considerable presence in the organic and cold chain sectors.
