During the cold and harsh days of winter, dry skin is a common issue for many. As temperatures plummet outside, dry and cooler air robs the skin of its natural moisture, leaving it both flaky and itchy. This is why it’s so important to use lotion regularly—not only does it form a protective barrier against the elements, but it also helps keep the skin soft, smooth and well-hydrated. This coming week, Aldi is releasing a set of hand creams that will help you with this endeavor. Best of all, it’s very similar to a L’Occitane version over 8x the price.
From Nov. 27 to Dec. 3, Aldi will be selling their Lacura 7-Piece Hand Cream Set for only $5.29. It’ll be located in the Aldi Aisle section of their U.S. stores for a limited time only. And you might want to act fast! At this price, it’s bound to sell out quickly.

Lacura 7-Piece Hand Cream Set, $5.29 at Aldi
With its stylish design, there’s a lot to love about this hand-cream collection from Lacura. The 6.16-ounce set comes in seven festive scents, including bergamot orange, jasmine amber, eucalyptus & sage, peppermint, citrus tart, warm coconut and vanilla spice. To use, apply a generous amount to your hand and gently massage it onto your cuticles, palms and knuckles.
At just under an ounce per bottle, these hand creams are perfect for your purse or tote, and will keep your hands feeling soft and smooth during the cold winter months ahead! They also make for an excellent Christmas gift or stocking stuffer.

L’Occitane Nourishing Hand Cream Classics, $45 at Sephora
As we mentioned earlier, this Lacura set is similar to L’Occitane’s Nourishing Hand Cream Classics, which comes in a five-pack at Sephora. This limited edition product costs $45 and features some wonderful scents, including shea butter, almond, verbena, lavender and cherry blossom. Like the Aldi product, each tube is relatively small (approximately one ounce each), making it perfect for your purse, tote and work. They also feature a nourishing blend of shea butter, sweet almond oil and beta-glucan, which helps prevent dry skin and lock in moisture.
The biggest difference between these two products is their quality and efficacy. While the Aldi site mentions nothing about the Lacura set’s long-lasting qualities, the L’Occitane hand creams are designed to last upwards of 24 hours. As an added bonus, it’s vegan-friendly and paraben-free.
Given the price difference between these two products, though, this is to be expected. And if you’re looking for something like L’Occitane for the holiday gift-giving season, Aldi’s could be a good alternative. It’s even less expensive for seven of them than it is for one travel-size L’Occitane hand cream ($13 at Ulta Beauty).
So, if you’re looking for some festive hand creams that are budget-friendly (and come in a nice range of scents), you can’t go wrong with Lacura’s 7-Piece Hand Cream Set. At only $5.29, this collection is a pretty good deal.
