Jason Kelce and his Monday Night Countdown colleagues granted one pair of lucky football fans a heartwarming interruption during their latest broadcast.
The analysts were talking about Thanksgiving in a new clip uploaded to X by NFL on ESPN, which naturally flowed into a congratulatory moment for the returned Eagles legend’s “growing family” before the group rolled another snippet of a related fan interaction that they said happened totally “organically.”

A pair of Ravens fans were seated just above the analysts’ conference table for the Baltimore team’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday, Nov. 25. The two held a pair of signs that said, “Tell us if it’s a boy or girl. We’re pregnant with the next Ravens fan,” and, as it turned out, the quartet was more than happy to oblige.

Scott Van Pelt held the envelope containing the gender of the couple’s baby, joking, “I’ve never been this nervous on television,” as he opened it up to share the information inside with the rest of his colleagues before they announced the exciting news together, shouting loudly, on the count of three, “It’s a boy!!!”
The parents-to-be were overjoyed, with mom jumping into dad’s arms to celebrate as the broadcasters laughed in the background, applauding the news and sending their congratulations.
“We’re bringing families together,” Van Pelt said jovially, calling it “a Thanksgiving miracle” before reiterating once again that the whole stunt “was not planned” and that the couple simply “wanted us to do a gender reveal,” and “so we did.”
