Holiday Inn Express & Suites to Open in Wiener Neustadt in 2026

A new Holiday Inn Express & Suites is set to open in Wiener Neustadt, Austria, in 2026. The hotel will be operated by Tristar Austria GmbH as part of a development project by the ÖFV Group. Tristar has entered into a franchise agreement with IHG Hotels & Resorts for this property.

The hotel will be located at the junction of Wienerstraße-Werkstraße and Doktor-Alexander-Schärf-Straße. It will feature 136 rooms, including 32 suites, conference areas and food and beverage outlets.

Wiener Neustadt, with a population of approximately 47,900, is the second-largest city in Lower Austria. It is roughly 50 kilometers south of Vienna and serves as the administrative center of the Wiener Neustadt-Land district.

Stefan Catic, Head of Operator Search at PKF hospitality group, expressed his delight over the hotel’s introduction to the city. Christina Locher, Managing Director at Tristar Austria GmbH, highlighted the goal to provide a hotel tailored to the needs of Nova City and Wiener Neustadt, appealing to both business and leisure travelers.
