Grubhub and Hilton Expand Partnership for In-Room Food and Grocery Delivery – Image Credit Hilton
Hilton Hotels and Grubhub are broadening their partnership to deliver on-demand food, groceries, and convenience items to guests at over 2,600 hotels. This extended service applies to the Hampton by Hilton, Tru by Hilton, and Spark by Hilton brands. Guests can access Grubhub’s marketplace of over 375,000 merchants by scanning a QR code, making ordering items more convenient during their stay.
Moreover, guests can enjoy a free month of Grubhub+, offering benefits such as zero delivery fees, lower service fees on eligible orders, and a 5% credit back on pickup orders.
The initiative follows the successful launch of Grubhub Onsite at Homewood Suites by Hilton and Home2 Suites by Hilton in 2023. Orders to Hilton properties have doubled since then, with guests ordering various items, from food to personal essentials. The expanded partnership gives guests more flexibility to meet their unique needs.
Rob DelaCruz, vice president and general manager of Grubhub Onsite, stated that the expansion demonstrates the strong demand among Hilton guests for convenient, affordable delivery. Bill Duncan, senior vice president and global category head, All Suites and Focused Service Brands at Hilton, added that the partnership with Grubhub would enhance the amenities offered at their hotels, providing more value to their guests.
